The Victoria Hotel & Source Spa

I and my daughters agreed that it was the nicest hotel we had stayed in. The staff are impressive and well trained,.friendly and thoughtful. The Victoria made looking after my disabled sister a pleasure for us all. We all look forward to our return.

We had a lovely three night stay at the Victoria hotel. The food was excellent and the room very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My 82 year old mother had plucked up the courage to come away with us since loosing her husband of 64 years- we could not have chosen a better place and the weather was perfect for us. This has given her confidence and sure we will visit again or another hotel in the group- Saunton Sands has always been a favourite for the family and Victoria is no different now we have experienced it- thank you

We have just returned from another lovely holiday at the Victoria hotel Sidmouth. I want to thank all the staff for making it a memorable one , with special mentions to Jessie ,Adam and the lovely Asian girl who all worked in the restaurant and Aidan who was always smiling , Ray the concierge in his smart green livery and Andrew the uniformed chauffeur who will drive you anywhere locally in the complimentary “ Roller” . The attention to detail throughout the hotel elevates the Victoria to the highest level ( we think it is worthy of a 5 star rating) from the flowers in your room with a personalised card welcoming back returning guests to the young man polishing the brass fittings at 7am on the beautiful revolving door in the foyer . Being ex hoteliers ourselves the first thing we noticed immediately on arrival was how clean everywhere was , the lovely period furniture , the thick plush carpets throughout and the beautiful velvet curtains and pelmets on all floors and I have to mention the fabulous fresh flower arrangements everywhere . We were really impressed that there was a different dinner menu everywhere day cooked to perfection by the excellent chefs and their brigades and PLEASE keep the the dress code for gentlemen . Finally , special thanks to the hotel who organised the resident band to play Happy Birthday to mu partner Suzanne and the card . We will definitely return .

We stopped for lunch en route to Exeter and were glad we did. We were seated in the White room as the main restaurant was closed on a lunch time. We had the three course lunch with coffee included and felt it was tremendous value at £35 a head. Bernadette gave us excellent service. My wife had the chicken and I had the sea bass for main course - all delicious. It was very relaxing to have our coffee and chocolates in the lounge.

Just returned from another great trip to the Victoria Hotel. Amazing food and service. Outdoor pool was a lovely temperature and good spa area. As always, a big thank you to Aidan, David, Tony, Ray and Lyndsey and to all the other members of the team. Look forward to returning.
