Die angemeldete frühe Ankunft lief wunderbar, wir konnten direkt ins Komfort Zimmer. Sehr geräumig, puristisch gemütlich, großes Bad. Ausreichend Stauraum im Schrank, alles sehr sauber! Eine Schiefertafel mit Schultüte, Nimm2, Äpfeln und 1 Flasche Wasser - sehr nette Aufmerksamkeiten! Die Inhaber Familie sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ebenso die Dame für alles, Franziska. Herzlich, redegewandt, geht nicht, gibts nicht. Am Sonntag waren wir 3 Frühstücksgäste, sehr liebevoll wurde alles, was wir uns wünschten, hergerichtet , angerichtet und am Tisch serviert. Das Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr leckerem Lachs, Vollkornbrot und Brötchen, gute Auswahl an Früchten, Saft, Kaffee, Tee etc. Beeindruckt hat mich die Rinderleberwurst - mal was ganz anderes und super lecker. Das Restaurant besuchten wir am Freitag Abend. So etwas gibt es bei uns im Sauerland nicht! So etwas machen wir auch nicht oft und jeder Euro hat sich gelohnt. Toller Service, interessante Menüs und tolle Steaks! Ja, es ist viel Geld, ein Rinderfilet mit 4 Beilagen für € 55. Rechnet man Ambiente, Service, Zubereitung, Qualität - das passt schon. Genial der SCHNEEBALL Schwarzwälder Kirsch - mmmhhh, davon werde ich träumen.

Hotel in einem Gebaeude von 1911. Ca. 10 Zimmer mit minimalistischer Ausstattung, kein Kuehlschrank . Zimmer ausreichend gross and MIT Holzfussboden, Bad gut beleuchtet und ausgestattet. Fruehstueck fuer €17 ok. Restaurant/Karte sah interessant aus, wurde jedoch aufgrund der Preise fuer Steaks etc nicht aufgesucht.

Wir haben spontan ein Zimmer mit guter Erreichbarkeit nach Hamburg gesucht und hier gefunden: mit der Bahn ist man in ca 20min am Hauptbahnhof HH, Parken im 6km entfernt gelegenen Ahrensburg ist kostenfrei, Ringfahrkarte 6,90€ ganztägig. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber, großes Bad mit Tageslicht und Fußbodenheizung. Dusche in der Badewanne bei der Größe des Bades finde ich schade und unbequem. Das Zimmer selbst ist sehr spartanisch ausgestattet, Minitisch und zwei unbequeme Stühle, keine Minibar, kein Balkon. Leider ist das Hotel auch sehr hellhörig und die Lage - obwohl Siek eher idyllisch ist, leider sehr laut. Mit offenem Fenster hört man die Autobahn. Das Zimmer wurde bei 3 Nächten nur einmal gereinigt. Das Frühstücks Büfett war wirklich armselig. Es wurde uns zwar angeboten noch was nachzulegen, fordert man das aber wenn ausdrücklich gefragt wird? Das ist kein 4 Sterne Niveau. Das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant ist sehr gut, die Preise entsprechend. Alkoholfreie Getränke zu teuer: 0,75l Gerolsteiner Mineralwasser 8€. Das Personal im Hotel ist freundlich geschult, im Restaurant locker und zuvorkommend. Obwohl die Lage von Siek wirklich gut ist kommen wir nicht mehr in die Alte Schule zur Übernachtung. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht.
