Reasey Boutique Villa

Our driver dropped us off at Reasey Boutique Villa and immediately, I was impressed. They met us and the people spoke enough English to communicate. We were escorted into the reception area and served a refreshing drink while they confirmed our reservation. They helped with our luggage and we were taken to our room. It was lovely. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The bathroom was big with modern fixtures and the shower was hot. Towels, soap, shampoo, razor, toothbrush, were all available for you if needed. There was a small refrigerator and cold bottles of water, no charge. The electrical plugs worked with American plugs without adapters. The beds were soft and comfortable. Little shelves hung on the wall by the bed for your phone or iPad, just next to the plugs. Wi-Fi was strong. Now I want to tell you the best part. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. A good example is the young man, Thol Vanna, whose name we asked for because he was so helpful to us. The rooms are little villas with separate entrances. Every morning a breakfast is included. The food is delicious. There is a small pool in which to cool yourself at the end of a hot day. It is a block from the Park Hyatt but with all the ambiance of a small local place and a price that is easy on your budget. Next you can shower and walk to downtown Siem Reap for a nice meal or shopping. It is safe to stroll, but don’t get lost. A lovely Cambodian restaurant half a block from the Villa is Golden Pumpkin. It has great food and is very reasonable. The cold draft beer, Angkor, at $.75, wonderful!!! Everything about our week visit was amazing. Even the border crossing, which we were afraid would be stressful, was not unpleasant though it takes a little time to navigate. I highly recommend this place. We reserved them through Airbnb. It was over the internet but very secure. They responded within 24 hours. Very reasonable as their day is our night in the USA. I would go back to this place every time. Trish, Joe and Aunt Sunee
