What a little paradise this hotel is! Outstanding service, very friendly staff, fantastic rooms, and perfect location to use as a starting to explore Ankor Wat. I usually never write reviews but in this case I had to. Thanks a lot to the team - we had wonderful 3 days.

One of the best hotel experiences I've had, and definitely the best value for money. The staff and service are incredible. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. And the food is remarkably good. Extended our stay from 2 to 4 nights -- we'd originally planned to spend our last 2 nights at the Park Hyatt Siem Reap, but realized we were enjoying the Shintana just the same for 1/5th the price. I couldn't recommend the place any more strongly.

スタッフがとても丁寧な方ばかり！オーナーもわざわざ出迎えてくれてホテルの説明をしてくれました。小さな質問にも答えてくださり、痒いところまで手が届くきめ細かなサービスをしていただけました。部屋も清掃が行き届いていて食事も美味しいです。このホテルのおかげでカンボジアにまた来たいと思ったくらいです。どうもありがとうございました。

1人旅で利用させていただきましたが、1人なの？と驚いたような問いかけをホテルスタッフ2人からされて、1人で利用することを歓迎するホテルではないようでした。
価値観が違うのは良いのですが、ホテルスタッフ側が1人で来たことに驚くのは今時古い考え方だと思います。そのような反応をされるなら最初からおひとりさま利用禁止にしたら良いと思います。
部屋数がとても少なく、ホテルの方は1組1組丁寧に接客するスタイルで、合う人は合うのかもしれませんが、自分はまるで監視されているような感覚になり、合いませんでした。改装されたようですが、それでもところどころ施設の古さが気になりました。気になる程度で済めば良かったのですが、鍵の立て付けが悪かったのか、トイレに閉じ込められるという大変怖い思いを経験し、それ以来狭いところに入って鍵をかけるということが怖くトラウマになってしまいました。基本的なアップデートがされていないのに、接客だけはとても丁寧で、申し訳ないのですが、私には不気味に感じ、早くこのホテルから出たいと感じるほどでした。
