Everyone will have a dream to live in a palace or a castle at some point. If you want to experience such a dream, it's not a bad choice here. It wouldn't be a problem if you could enjoy the loneliness, despair, and stillness of being alone in a large space. If you can't imagine, imagine sleeping in the middle of the gym overnight. The facilities provide the bare minimum. The beds are not bad, either. But there are not many feelings of living that people can live. It's the biggest regret there. It's easy to go anywhere because it's in the center of major tourist attractions. However, if you don't have enough leg muscles and heart power, you may be afraid to go outside. If you experience your own physical limitations during the day and are thinking of fighting solitude at night, it's not a bad choice.

A fantastic location , excellent view of the baptistery from the room. Right in the heart of the Cathederal complex. Although siena is hilly, the B& B is one level. No lift required. The hosts are friendly and informative of the area.. they sent a video of the location and how to check which was perfect. We did not have breakfast but there is a lovely bar around the corner (Roxy bar) which did great breakfast, lunches and evening drinks. The room is large with a fridge and proper size mugs for tea and coffee! The bed is very comfortable and we slept with the window open and were not troubled with any noise.

We spent four nights in Palazzo del Magnifico and were delighted with our choice of B&B. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. This husband and wife team do everything they can to make your stay in Siena wonderful. Our room looked out at the rear of the Cathedral onto a piazza, which is a stunning sight. Fresh towels, ultra clean room and bathroom, with a piping hot shower. We were even able to borrow an iron to press my shirt for a wedding. Filippo set out the buffet breakfast, a table laden with a wide choice of goodies: juices, croissants, cakes, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit, conserves, cereal, ham, cheese. Plus he brought tea or coffee to our table with refills as required. Those breakfasts were fuel for our days in Siena. The Palazzo has lots of history (see their website), and we found it nicely located with just a short walk to Il Campo ( where the Palio takes place). A small supermarket is just three minutes away. Our host were great. Filippo even booked us a taxi to take us to the train station on our last day. I recommend Palazzo del Magnifico unreservedly. I shall stay there again if I return to Siena.

This hotel has been one of the best choices in my life. An old house next to the Cathedral, with an unbeatable location. Filippo and Camila the best hosts. Divine rooms and good breakfast. The only thing is that it doesn't have air conditioning, but they give you a fan. Since there were many of us, we had four rooms, one night the hotel was just for us and we felt very comfortable. Below the hotel there is a bistro for good wine and tapas. I would definitely return and really recommend it.

The B&B is located in a building from the 1300s. We chose the room with a view of the Baptistery and the location was extraordinary. Furthermore, the room is of considerable size and so is the bathroom. Silent and romantic. We didn't try breakfast. The only flaw: the lack of towel hangers in the bathroom.

I stayed two nights in this very central structure (Camera Pancosanti) from the window you can almost touch the cathedral, I found myself very well, comfortable room with well attention to detail, clean bathroom. Kind and attentive owner, upon reporting a problem with the toilet seat he immediately replaced it. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

Location in the central area next to the Duomo, beautiful structure with clean and welcoming environments. Varied and plentiful breakfast included, very kind and polite owners. I recommend it for a very pleasant visit to Siena.

Ideally located a stone's throw from the Duomo, a stone's throw from the Piazza del Campo, a very pretty building, the rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and the furniture plunges us into the Renaissance. The hosts are charming and very good advice, particularly for parking the car valet service that we used which I recommend Simple and good breakfast the only downside is that there is no air conditioning in mid June we had very hot, the fan in the room making a lot of noise, preventing the air from being cooled

Very nice and clean, exceptional location. Excellent breakfast. Valet car service absolutely recommended! Historic building with thick walls and high ceilings, there is no air conditioning but a powerful fan was enough.
