Castello Delle Quattro Torra

Beautiful nature and accommodation. We felt perfect in the castle. Staff very nice. Breakfast perfectly. Beautiful hotel with attention to all the important details. Staff made us feel right at home and even made sure. Location is amazing.

We had a lovely stay here. Stayed at the top of the tower and had the most amazing 360 views. The view of Siena particularly special. The room was comfortable and shower was good. Very easy, short drive into Siena - there is a car park easily accessible that has an escalator up into Siena - very good in the heat. Would happily stay here again if back in the area, and would recommend as somewhere special to stay just outside Siena.

It's a castle. Built in the early 1200's. Occupied by Spanish soldiers in the 1500s, etc. It's legit! Well preserved, but not over renovated, so it still has the old world feel. Drive through the narrow little road through the olive trees until you see the big castle before you. Walk up to the huge doors, push, and enter into the lower part of the castle. It's a big open area with a set of old stone stairs leading up into somewhere. Walk up those stairs turn and take more stairs, turn and take more stairs, until you come to a common living room area well up into the castle. Miss Laura, the lady of the castle, greets you there and is so nice and sweet. Speaks just enough English to be able to tell you what you are to do and then takes you to your room. First night we had a downstairs room, with 25 feet tall ceilings, with visible wooden rafters. The room has a massive living room area, with a small kitchen tucked off into the corner, and a really large separate bedroom. Absolutely incredible! Hung out in the common area upstairs with other guest chatting. Breakfast in the morning was a European breakfast, prosciutto and cheese and lighter fare. Second night we stayed in the split level tower room. Spiral staircase goes up, has a loft with the bed, and you're in top of the tower. Amazing! Both rooms were great! The castle is incredible. Small refrigerator in each room, downstairs apartment has the only microwave. For your luggage, there is motorized lift system that hauls your big bags up through the center open area of the castle. Wi-Fi is not strong, probably cause of castle walls. Shower pressure in tower seems to vary depending on other castle residence usage, but never ran out of hot water. Absolutely incredible stay!
