Siena Hotels with Pools

The hotel is far from the old town and is in a remote location, so it is very quiet. The room is quite spacious, the facilities are a bit old, and there are few restaurants around. It takes about ten minutes to walk to get there. It is better if you have a car, and the price-performance ratio is very high.

When I took the room, I said that I didn't find the order, and I took a long time to get the room. Driving is ok, parking is free and the room is too old. No quilt. Only one can be covered like a sheet. Asked the waiter to give the quilt, and gave two very shabby blankets. . . About 2 kilometers from the city, on the top of the mountain. The price is very poor

My wife and I spent three nights here on our honeymoon trip to Italy. The villa is very nice, well-kept, clean and not too far from Siena and other small towns in Tuscany. Our room was spacious and clean, the bathroom especially was well-appointed. We truly enjoyed sitting in the lounge having aperitif and cocktails each night, and one night had a yummy dinner in the on-site restaurant. What I really want to highlight is the hotel's staff. In particular, Elena, who checked us in and was at the front desk our first two days, was absolutely wonderful. From showing us a map and marking parking and sites in Siena, to calling cabs for us (about 15 euro to Siena) but she truly went above and beyond finding a few activities for us to do on one of our days there. She researched and booked a private horseback ride which was great but what was OUTSTANDING was the private cheese tasting she arranged for us at Podere S. Anna Organic Caseificio Company based in Radi. The breakfast was very nice, and bacon and scrambled eggs are included with no extra charge if you ask for them. The rest of the staff was also excellent, we saw the same people each day and they all made us feel at home at Villa Scacciapensieri.

We stayed at the Certosa with a group of friends, and we loved this hotel. It is a unique property, previously being a monastery, with beautiful grounds and pool area. The rooms are spacious, and clean, but not modern luxury. The breakfast is wonderful. The menu on the restaurant is quite progressive and high end, but they also made us dishes that we requested if there was nothing to suit us. I loved the location, being a little outside of Siena, as it provided a nice calm reprieve, and you are right in the hills of Tuscany. I was unsure if it was walkable to Siena, and found that it was an easy 15 minute walk into Siena, that we took each day during daylight. We also had no issues calling cabs, or having cabs drop us off at the hotel in the evening hours, as the roads are too narrow to walk on safely after dark. There are limited hotels with pools in the area, which is why we chose this hotel. But, the location, and overall feel of the hotel were even better than I hoped. Siena was a highlight of the trip to Italy, which included Rome, Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terra. And, if you are going to visit, I would highly recommend staying here. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The advantage here is that it is very convenient to walk 14 minutes from the train station. It is acceptable to walk to the old town of Siena for 20 minutes. The price is beautiful and very moving now. The environment is superb. I saw the deer in the garden in the morning. The manager proudly introduced that four deer babies were born this year. Instantly, I feel that this place is outstanding, especially suitable for creativity, works, and results. Every morning, the window is opened, and the fresh air on the hillside is poured into the room. People have a clear mind, inspiration, and a new look. It is a good choice for a temporary stay away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast at 8 o'clock, not self-service, you need to tell the manager what to eat one day in advance, they are ready, every day when they enter the restaurant, they see the breakfast neatly placed on the table, and the service is in place. The restaurant wall is a trekking pole handmade by the manager uncle, each of which is made into a small animal image according to the natural shape of the branches, and the eyes are painted, which is very flexible. It is very popular. It is said that many people buy it. The layout, furniture and facilities in the room are all strong Italian style, some retro atmosphere, old objects are very reassuring. Safety and health, no worries. The temperature in Italy in December looked more than a dozen degrees, but it still felt wet and cold outside the rain, the room was heated, the ground was warm, and I could walk barefoot. I have received many Chinese tourists here. The manager has been studying the main different habits and preferences of people in different provinces in China, but found that China has a large number of people. She has not understood it. Haha is so cute. Language is not a barrier, what really makes people communicate smoothly is a heart, I feel it here. I hope I can come and live for a while next time.

Our second time at the Hotel Il Giardino, the first planning our wedding and this time was the night before we went to our wedding venue in August 2022. We booked direct - highly recommend. Free onsite parking too which helps! The hotel is in a fantastic location, less than 1km walk to the piazza del campo. Alice is an absolute diamond and couldn’t do enough for us, our family and friends. Even to the point of booking all our taxis to our wedding venue and welcoming us with a glass of Prosecco, she truly makes the hotel. While we did our civil ceremony at the town hall she made sure everything went smoothly for us and took care of all our belongings. We had a lovely modern room overlooking the pool and city. The pool area is amazing, Tuscany views and the city. Good gym area. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, typical Italian style and very good coffee. The hotel has had renovations in the bathrooms since we last visited which made a huge improvement. We can’t wait to come back, it’s a special place to us now 🥰

The breakfast was great and the croissant was super delicious; the grandmother received at the front desk was very enthusiastic and provided us with a lot of help; there is a large parking lot with a coop supermarket nearby, suitable for self-driving travel. The hotel can buy a bus ticket, which is valid for 1.5 Euro and 79 minutes, and it is very convenient to enter the city
