The Sira, a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa, Lombok

Really nothing but praise for this gem on Lombok island. The hotel is brand new, but I honestly think this will be the number 1 resort in the coming years. No matter its a family vacation, or a romantic getaway for couples, this place has it all. From the unparalleled service, to the amazing food… to some of the most breathtaking sea views on planet earth, this place has it all. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, your stay here will be an unforgettable experience. Truly a highly recommended hotel for anyone heading to Lombok.

We stayed for five nights in February and had a wonderful time. From the welcome ceremony to the attentive service at breakfast, we were made welcome and felt very special. The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy the stay. A huge shout our particularly to Gama, who made each breakfast time an enjoyable experience, and to Satria, who took time to tell us so much about Lombok. The hotel is quite remote (about 2 hours from airport). The car that picked us up was comfortable and included water, a snack and BonVoy wifi to the hotel. The room was absolutely stunning and we were upgraded from a regularly suite to a premium one (titanium status). The hotel facilities are top notch and the views incredible. There isn't much near the hotel, so expect to spend most of your time there. I did get out to scuba dive with Lombok Dive who collected me and dropped me at hotel. Would highly recommend anyone to stay if looking for a relaxing time. It's very family friendly but easy to be away from the crowds and enjoy your own personal space. My only small gripe was a couple of the meals were not quite what I'd expect, but largely the food was exceptional. Drinks list could also do with a bit more. 10 out of 10 for us.

Initially, I had planned to visit the Gili Islands after spending a few days, but I ended up staying at the hotel for an extended period. The hotel offers an array of delectable food options, including a diverse selection of breakfasts and a refreshing drinks. The 70-meter swimming pool is consistently enjoyable and never fails to provide a sense of relaxation. The room facilities and room service were impeccable. One of the highlights of my stay was the exhilarating ATV adventure around the local area. However, the most remarkable aspect of this hotel lies in its exceptional staff. I want to express my deepest gratitude to numerous individuals who made my annual Bali retreat an unforgettable experience filled with smiles, humor, exceptional assistance, and profound insights into Indonesian and Lombok cultures. Yazid, Lily, Nyoman, Fariz, Reonard, Mugi, Mugni, and many others whose names I can’t recall at the moment, were truly remarkable. They displayed an unwavering passion for their work and treated me as the sole guest in the hotel with utmost politeness and friendliness. They remembered even the smallest details, ensuring flawless service. Above all, I cherished the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and learn from these incredible individuals. I sincerely hope that all the wonderful aspects of this hotel remain unchanged when I return next year. I eagerly anticipate the chance to see you all again. Lastly, Amanda, you made an exceptional first impression on me, and it’s evident that you are the epitome of excellence. Thank you so much, and I look forward to seeing you next year!
