Comfortable room, complete facilities, good location, very close to the ancient city. It rained heavily when we arrived at the mountain. Fortunately, we lived close by and could return to the hotel immediately. The first two photos were taken on the top floor of the hotel

This property could do better if they put forth some effort. At 07:27 they were cleaning up dirty dishes and food from the restaurant the night before, all night long they let piles of dirty dishes sit on the tables. Breakfast begins at 07:30, later than we would like. The carpets are seriously stained throughout the property. But bed was very comfortable, our room was quiet, we slept well. Which is truly the most important part of a hotel, hence the 4 star rating. The toilet seat was broken and the towels were kept on a high shelf above the toilet, the towels were disheveled as if they were thrown on the shelf. The AC unit needs to be cleaned, it was full of visible black dust. They charge 50 lei for the cookie, we have never been to a Double Tree where they charge for their signature cookie.

The hotel is in a great location with lovely views to the town. Staff were very helpful. We only stayed one night. Although the room we were in was clean the room needed a refurbishment and as for a balcony that is a joke. We moved rooms to a room with a terrace, which was much better. The room still needed a refurbishment The whole hotel is run down but does have some very Good facilities such as a bar, restaurant and a huge indoor pool, we did n't use it.

This hotel is screaming for redecoration. I booked it just assuming it would be Hilton quality. The shower was dirty (please see pictures) and I need not say more. The breakfast containers were almost empty at 8am in the morning. No coffee/ juice etc

My wife and I spent three wonderful evenings here while on an organized tour of Transylvania. Because we were part of a tour group, our meals were covered and came with the package. Therefore, we did not get any choices on our meals. Having said that, each dinner was a three course meal with a tasty appetizer, a filling dinner, and a delicious dessert. The first night we started with a breaded eggplant with tzatziki followed by a beef stroganoff and a blueberry frappe. The next night, we had an amazing vegetable soup followed by chicken breats and fries and a chocolate mousse for dessert. The third night we dined in Dracula's birth home so we did not eat here. The breakfast for all three days featured a plethora of offerings with eggs, sausages, cheeses, and vegetables. They had a section called the Transylvanian Corner which featured something uniquely Transylvanian. The room was more than adequate and faced a beautiful Orthodox Church on one side and the old upper town on the other. The bar was a wonderful place to visit with other tour partners. The hotel also has an indoor pool which were wanted to try out. However, we were always on the go. Someone in the group took their kids there and gave it a thumbs up. The service wass great, check in and out was easy, and the housekeeping was wonderful. While not the most modern or up to date Hilton property, this Double Tree is ideally located and checks all the boxes for a great vacation.

This hotel is in a great location for visiting the old town. It offers free parking and has an indoor pool. The hotel is a little older but offered a comfortable stay. The satff were amazing and very helpful. Would stay again.

Their are many great restaurants in Sighisoara this is not one of the went tonight music was disco loud when I suggested to manager that it wasn't appropriate for a food restaurant he laughed . Although only 6 tables in getting a waiter to serve you was almost impossible. I have been visiting the city for over 25years and can safely say the double tree is the worst experience I have had will never go back in
