Island Center Point

Nice room with great bathroom with tub, semi-outdoors. The resort is very pretty with lots of lovely day-beds but they should have waiters coming round for food and drinks orders, which would be perfect. Decent restaurant but it’s dead in the evening since they don’t bother to make the bar up with candles or music and everybody therefore goes to nearby restaurants and bars instead. Beach is quite nice in this area and they leave it quite natural.

Nice resort

The rooms were really spacious and immaculately presented. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we had the best nights’ sleep of our trip here. The bathrooms deserve special mention - gorgeous design and felt so luxurious! The hotel staff were attentive and friendly and helped with travel arrangements and transfer to the hotel when we arrived. The breakfasts were very good with a wide choice and we enjoyed some excellent cocktails (coriander martini was amazing!) and snacks from the restaurant. There are several beach bars and fish BBQ places down the beach to eat at as well. The hotel is situated towards the top of Saracen Bay, the beach is immaculate around the hotel (the sand some of the whitest I have ever seen) and the beds provided are lovely way to relax and spend time on the beach. There is one small area down the beach where there is some litter (it looks like where there used to be some beach accomdation) but on the whole the beach was extremely clean and there was no construction work when we were there (something I was concerned about before arriving) - it was a real paradise. The hotel is a modern design which I liked but might not be to everyone’s taste. Some of the rooms look out to the sea and others the backs of other rooms which is worth enquiring about when booking.

We had memorable moments during our 3 nights at Island Center Point. The staff is always doing its best to make us feel comfortable and welcomed, starting with a pickup at the pier and waiting for us with welcome drinks and fresh towels. Even though sometimes there are some miscommunication (after all, english is not their first language), they make it up with kindness. The resort concept is another highlight: modernist around the room area, but with beach vibes for the common areas, such as the spa, restaurant and reception. The restaurant, we must say, is another must, with delicious local and western food and cocktail hour. The room are also spacious, with the bathroom being another high point. Two sinks, shower and a bathtub. It seems to come out of an architecture magazine! Finally, the beach in front of the resort is beautiful, with gazebos for us to enjoy it. It's a shame that the sea was a little rough and we couldn't enjoy the kayaks –the only low point.

We stayed here for a week and from go to whoa it was a great experience. We were met on the pier and taken to reception on arrival and then taken to our room which was fabulous. Great air conditioning, large room with a great bed as well as a fabulous outdoor bathroom. Staff were very professional and friendly and the whole week was fantastic. Good wifi and no television, which was great! Would stay here again.
