A beautiful Thai mountain hotel
Good weather, can see the Himalayas, the whole mountain range, very cool weather
SPA is very standard, there are Nepalese masseuses who can massage hard
Disadvantages
Long distance and the road is not very good, from Kathmandu 1.2 hours
Must hire a TAXI or Private Car
Himalaya is shy, not seen every day and all day, have to take a chance
Food focuses more on Nepalese than international, but it's good to get a variety

The SPA is GREAT They do a wonderful job !!! I therapist was really amazing and the place is great The hotel is very nice, the view was foggy si we could not see the Himalayas The hotel is very nice, and they have different activities, is a beautiful place

In this hotel I met a great team who gives me a home like experience there. With Sandesh guidance I visited monestry. Sandesh is a very profession tourist guide he taught me a lot of local culture. Also Roshan sir wellness lessons give me yoga training and meditation. And I'm lucky to saw all the beautiful view in that day. Happy experience and perfect day!

What views! Fantastic stay with views from heaven and staff extremely attentive. The food and drink are varied and enough choice for everyone. The peace and quiet is exceptional and if you need time out, this is the place. Would I return, most definitely!

We stayed 2 nights in their Mountain View rooms. Everything about the property spelt uber luxury and class. Sitting in the jacuzzi with views of the spectacular mountain ranges was a memorable experience. The breakfast spread at Thaan was truly international with Ishaan Thapa ever so attentive to our needs. Dusit Thani is truly an oasis of calm n tranquility.
