Ctrip's service is OK! Today I was pissed off by that X website again: the flight I booked was cancelled, and they arranged a protection flight, which was to fly to another city the next day and transfer, which took a whole day. I gave up decisively, and the refund on the App was unsuccessful. Due to time constraints, I booked a direct flight at a high price. After that, I applied for a refund again, but they refused to refund me because the deadline had passed. The flight cancellation has caused me a lot of losses, but they still won't refund me. Is this company used to eating free meals?
Midland Inn & Suites

We just returned from a one night stay at the Midland Inn and Suites and we would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The staff was helpful and pleasant to deal with both on the phone, when booking and in person upon check in. Our standard room was clean and well appointed with a Keurig coffeemaker, small fridge and microwave. The room faced the highway but we did not hear the traffic . The breakfast in the morning was a selection of eggs, sausages and hash brown potato cakes along with cereal and yogurt and various bread options.

Have stayed in the past, probably 10 years ago now and really enjoyed our stay at that time. So, this time around we were coming for a concert @ ****** Rama and to do a bit of cycling the following day. We booked through ******* but also checked the hotel site and they had no mention of not allowing bicycles in your room. Well to our surprise upon checking in, right at the reception is a sign on the counter, no bicycles allowed. To top it off, if they caught you sneaking a bicycle into the room, they would charge you $250.00. We asked the front desk staff if they had a storage room where we could put the bikes overnight. That was responded with a rather snarky & smirky response of NO. They suggested we leave the bikes on the bike rack outside of the front door overnight, to which I responded, not a chance. To the non cyclist's out there, you would probably say what's all the fuss about with bicycles, well, like many things these days, they aren't inexpensive. My partner spoke to the manager and she got an even nastier reception and response. We wound up going across the road to a small motel, not as nice of a place as Stone Gate but the owner was gracious enough to allow us to bring the bikes in the room. To add to the story, 5 days later, my partner receives a phone call from some rude, obnoxious employee of Stone Gate to discuss our dissatisfaction. Probably due to the fact I gave them a bad review on their Facebook page. The employee was hard to understand, obviously English was not his first language and mentioned that the review would not help their business. A true genius if there ever was one, if you are in the service industry, customer satisfaction is key and if you don't like negative reviews, treat your guests in a more professional manner. Then after a few minute discussion back and forth, he obviously became quite agitated and hung up. Great customer relations on their part. Well, now I will post a bad review wherever and whenever possible and never recommend this business.

Hotel was nothing spectacular, good location- walked to WalMart ( mall also had HomeDepot, Dollar Tree, The Brick, Boston Pizza), mall across the road had NoFrills, Wendy’s , IDA. Had supper at Kelsey’s , walkable also ( had to cross King St). Room was ok , could of been ‘cleaner’ , the mini shampoo and conditioner bottles were still in the shower from the previous guests ( fresh ones on the counter), noticed water ‘spots’ on the tile floor in the bathroom and area were you hang your coats, as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned / mopped . The breakfast made the rating a solid 3/5. Surprised by the ‘variety’- GF bread , nut free packaged‘breakfast bars’ , almond milk, waffles, and the ‘typical’ breakfast foods. Used pool, hot tub , DH used the sauna. Did not try the workout room.

Great place to stay in Collingwood. Blue Mountains are very close. Tobermory is about an hour and a half away which is a good day out. The hotel itself was quiet, clean and tidy. Staff were really good and helpful. There is a laundry room on site which is $1.50 a load. The pools were clean, and the grounds were kept really well. Plenty of parking space available. There is a $100 deposit as in pretty much all timeshares which is refundable when leaving. We had a great quiet time.

The most beautiful thing in this hotel is the pool /hot top and sauna. Pool was big and 8 feet depth and clean, although it wasn’t hot but for me it was warm enough for swimming while my family preferred if it’s more warmer. Hot breakfast was good , having waffles, omelette, French potato and sausage was great for breakfast with fruits, it’s only missing yogurt and some pastries.if those were there the breakfast will be perfect . Room was spacious and clean, and the good thing about this hotel there is no stairs for second level because the property is on slope no need for stairs. Customer service was amazing and professional, responded fast and very helpful when I asked them for a different room than what was chosen for me. Also allowed me to late checkout so we can enjoy the pool as possible. Me and my family liked it very much and would come back again.
