Wyndham Singapore Hotel

Good location to travel. If you can enjoy your walk to many malls and attraction places in Singapore. The staff are helpful and friendly. I would recommend to stay here

The hotel is in a very good location, very convenient to walk around but can get very crowded outside on Sunday. The check in time is at 3pm but we got a room since 1pm very good service.

2 years since the last I came and apart from the rooms, everything else has dropped so much in standards, firstly the check in process is extremely slow for some unknown reason, there is only 3 counters open the the queue is already snaking across the lobby. The duty manager just stand around looking smart but neither was he helping out the check in process as there was a bunch of China guests and none of the counter staff was Chinese speaking, nor was he helping to speed up the line by opening another counter to help. I was the 4th in line and I waited nearly 30min for check in. The rooms are looking better ngl but the shower water takes 5min to heat up, then once it got heated up, it becomes extremely hot that no matter what you do, it is hard to reduce the temperature back down again. The water pressure is powerful however that in turn made the water splash out of the shower doors and wetting the floor outside. However the most disappointing one must be the overall service, especially the room service! Firstly called them to order dinner at around 7.30pm which is a reasonable dinner time, they picked up and told me to wait as they are too busy, I waited for 10min and no response…I don’t think being understaffed is the guests’ concerns and shouldn’t you expect meal timings to be extra busy and plan ahead? Why are you pushing the responsibilities to the hotel guests instead? Secondly the hotel tv info displayed a series of promo and package deals for food and when called to check I was told they are outdated, but there’s nothing on the promos that indicated they are outdated, what’s worse, the room service people don’t even know such deals were been displayed on the hotel info. When called to the manager to check, neither he knew what I was talking about nor did he went to confirm with the room service staff, basically kicking the ball from one department to another, absolutely useless of this role… What’s most disappointing is the quality of food provided, the beef rendang burger is sitting in a wet pile of juice, soaking the bread and fries, then the sunny side egg underside is the most burnt an egg I’ve seen before, even I can fry an egg better than that. The buns are stone cold that was provided to me, the fruit platter which costs $10, has only 3 slices of honeydew, pineapple and watermelons each. When asked about the drinks, $15.50 for a 330ml Heineken…🤬

The hotel is good for us to have a short getaway. But some of the facilities are under renovation, not able to enjoy 😮💨😮💨

As it is now under renovation, there is nasty chemical smell near the public area of the hotel. Yet, the staff is quite helpful and friendly.
