do not stay here unless you like the smell of rotting seaweed. we asked if there were going to be any issues due to the hurricane the day before we arrived they said no. when we arrived they said they assured us i the sea **** would be cleaned everyday. they even recommended that we use the Marriott Beach so we did. they gave us walking directions... I would not recommend that hike. they also stated they would not give us a refund.

The hotel and staff is wonderful but Internet does not work in the rooms - only in the Lobby and restaurant. According to the owner, this is the Philippines and out of his control. In the 21st century, this is no longer an acceptable answer. Other hotels have found the solution. For the price taken, this hotel has no excuse !

We stayed at the Sea Fan Villa at Coral Beach. This was our first trip to St. Martin so, if you've never been, I'll give you our overview of the island, too. I don't do many Tripadvisor reviews but, when I do it's usually because the lodging was exceptional or horrible. Our Villa was exceptional! I also like to provide the details that I typically look for when I'm in a Tripadvisor worm-hole! Our three bedroom, stand alone building was very large and beautifully appointed The rooms have very comfortable king-size beds facing the ocean. All have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. The master: a huge bathroom with double sinks and the largest shower area we've ever seen. a large-walk in closet with a washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, etc. There's an elevator which was great for taking our luggage up to the second floor! You don't need adapters if coming for the States. The furnishings are beautiful and the place was immaculately clean. There is a patio off the living/dining area with a dining table, lounge chairs and your very own plunge pool that runs the length of the villa. It's about 4 ft deep. They have a concierge who met us at the airport and, while we rented a car, we followed her to the resort as the roads are winding and it would've been difficult to find. It's about a 30 minute drive. This person was lovely and immediately available to answer questions throughout our stay. The google map doesn't give you turn-by-turn directions but, if there are two people in the car, one person can guide the driver by following the google map. Having a car enabled us to see the whole island. There were many road closures and detours. Roads are narrow and you drive on the right. It may have been due to the hurricane but, you should know that Dawn beach was completely covered in seaweed - like a thick blanket covering the sand and in the ocean. At times, there was a foul odor. This was disappointing as we purposely chose a resort directly on the beach but, didn't use it once. I would give our villa 5 stars but not having use of the beach was an unexpected disappointment. The units are individually owned so, it's not a resort, it's quiet at night (which we wanted) and there is no main pool however, you can walk next door and use the Oyster Bay Beach Resort. They have a beautiful infinity pool, a market and a couple of restaurants. You can get drinks and snacks at the pool bar. THE ISLAND IN GENERAL: Orient Beach is a gorgeous, white sandy beach about 15 minutes away. We stayed in front of La Playa Orient Bay. Two chairs and an umbrella are $30. We ate at their beachfront restaurant - delicious. A few vendors approached us on the beach selling items and massages. If you're not interested, give them a firm 'no". Grand Case on the French side has restaurants on the water and some boutique shops. We at at Ocean 82 and had an incredible meal overlooking the water but, it's expensive! $400 f

Coral beach club is kept up very very well, the staff is super friendly🤩 Presley brought us 🥥 coconuts & 🥭mangoes. I needed gloves , Pandora brought those for me, she was very nice 😊 Every time we saw anyone they spoke, opened doors or gave us a ride on the golf carts….My mom thought she forgot her wallet and it was no problem, they were just going to charge her card…. Dionella helped us plane a whole trip to Anguilla and it was awesome 🏖️❤️🙏🏾 she had patience with us and made recommendations! The trip is well worth it for the pictures alone , it’s like paradise . You will however need to check the seasons because Kelp comes heavy during June through hurricane season. That’s why we had to go to Anguilla 🚤 boat 🇦🇮 tour…. Captain Omar and Cisco were great , they made it very fun 🤩 and gave us a lot of history! You get lunch 🥪, drinks 🍺 and snack I highly recommend this trip the beaches are BEAUTIFUL 🤩 also we got to snorkel 🤿, jump off the boats 🛥️! The pictures say everything!!!! Everything is near about 25 minutes. Ask the locals what restaurants are best!

This villa got cool jacuzzi, I was, simply, enjoy’ it for three days, I’d been shy, at first, also, I have felt myself, like at home, even though I was a guest, later, eventually, my sister, Margot, had helped me out, it was my excitement, so glad to swim in it, in my opinion you must feel-free to go gym, and not take an example from me 😄; there’s classy atmosphere in the nearest restaurants, I can’t recall the name, but it would remind an aquarium, to be honest, I liked the fish dish — how they cooked it so much excellent - I have no idea, since I can’t stand this food, also I ordered pasta, I can’t live without it; Dawn Beach should be accessed with the villa ID’s (given by its front desk, and the secretary will tell you passwords), and it’s minutes from your villa, we were there in the morning and at evening, around your house — you’ll see some hummingbird “Collibri” with a little next in the garden (you know!), it’s not a robot. Their food stores are far, but have tasty products, you can ask secretary for help, however they’ll deliver you in their taste from whichever store THEY will want, it’s like this everywhere, my sister, and I loved the assortment of the food and beverages, we bought a lot of course, and I liked the people out there, even though I have, never, been in Europe, except for layovers thrice. Beaches you must go in rented car too, my sister, Margot, is able to drive, and we had visited, mostly, all beaches, except for Moho beach (airplanes land, as in Aruba, very-very close to you, and this is what makes Saint Martin CLASSY, as well) , French, & Dutch flags wave with pride, when you drive to the capital of 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘴𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘨 or the markets on French side. „𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛" is on Dutch side, bordering very much with French one. I liked the mall in the capital, but I can’t afford it, sorry, Sint Maarten, it’s for wife of Emmanuel Macron, but, 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t know. You know (?), the gates in front of your room are cool - I was using the switch however I wished ☺️. No one saw me. Princess Juliana is one hour from the villa, approximately, you’ll pass through the mounts of St. Maarten, guys 😇, if I’ll go next time, then I’ll want to go hiking. I have seen in my dream (when I slept): How I sent letters to “English side” (surprisingly enough! lol 😆), and I was confused, I did not know, what to do, I was speaking with a Frenchwoman (but I was thinking, she was a Dutchwoman), and I needed to send it to French side, and I was away from the airport, where I would’ve had to go by taxi for 8 hours, I was scared much, and initially, I flied by that airplane in Sint Maarten, probably “KLM” (and I was, well, such demanding: “WHY?! ‘JETBLUE’ 🥸🤬😳” 😄), I do NOT know - why I realized it was, in particular, Sint Maarten.

We stayed in Marina Townhouse 17 and really enjoyed our stay. Place was immaculate and very well stocked for cooking any meal. Very comfortable furnishings and beds as well. Our stay in the Townhouse was made extra special by our house attendant Katty. She was very attentive and kind. Wen to the pool at Oyster Bay Resort and Sharon at the privacy gate always greeted us with a big smile and friendly conversation. And bartender Wanda at Coral Beach Club bar?????? Absolutely amazing. I honestly never asked for a thing. She remembered what I like and watched me and brought things when we were ready. Extremely attentive. When my partner hurt his knee on a jet ski, Wand fixed a large bag of ice for him. Both ladies at out Coral Beach Club office wee excellent and accommodating. We did experience a few internet connection issues but nothing major. Just some buffering. Beach was ok and swimmable. And it’s not daily accessible. We rented a car and it’s very easy to get around the island. Download maps.me and you will be pleased with the directions.

Loved loved loved this place - it's spacious, well appointed and the service was excellent. We were in unit 12 Conkle which is a 3 bedroom/4 bath on the top row. We had a wonderful private pool which was deep so we could swim and hang out and a huge patio. A full fridge, Stove, Viking dishwasher, large kitchen with an excellent island and many cooking utensils and dishware made it easy to stay in. Plus it has a large gas grill. A Nespresso machine and coffee pot were provided. We hit the local Carrefour and were surprised by the excellent produce and wonderful meats available. This unit also has a washer/dryer which is handy and a lot of storage space - huge closets and drawers. The service was excellent - they will clean every day if you want and everyone who worked here was very friendly. The views were gorgeous and it was a quick walk down to the private beach. We did prefer the beach at the Dawn Beach Club/Westin - which is a 1 min drive next door so we would go there. Dawn beach has the best snorkeling on the island so we did that a lot and also just sat in the beautiful Caribbean water. There are friendly Iguanas and Water Turtles to feed by the parking lot at the Westin/Dawn Beach Club so that made it fun. When we stayed at the Westin St John - Iguana feeding was an activity there so I think that is why these Iguanas are so friendly. We ate at Big Fish and Mamas - both had amazing food. Big Fish is fancier and a very fun atmosphere. My daughter is a vegetarian and the chef made her an excellent vegan dish she enjoyed. We visited Little Bay Beach to snorkel to the sub and helicopter, Maho beach to experience the planes landing and taking off (very fun and beautiful beach), Friars Beach which we loved - again beautiful and went to Grand Case for Dinner. Another fun thing is the amazing food on this Island - many French bakeries to enjoy - our fave was Chez Fernand but La Sucriere also good. Cafe Atlantico also had a wonderful breakfast and we got sandwiches to eat on the plane for our trip home. All in all I highly recommend St Martin and the Coral Beach Club.

We recently stayed in villa 6.... an oceanfront unit right on the beach with a private plunge pool. The photos give just a tiny glimpse of what is one of the cleanest, most spacious, comfortable units we have ever stayed in! We traveled with our two children and had family staying in another unit on site. We had everything we needed right there! We did a grocery delivery from shopanddrop and would walk to the veranda for quick bites. Big fish (on site) was amazing, and we had good meals at infinity as well. We did have a rental car, but found ourselves lounging in the villa and on the beach most of the time. The staff was friendly and accommodating- helped us get a birthday cake for my husband and arrange for a private driver one night when we wanted to venture out and enjoy some cocktails. We are already planning a trip back next year. A true week in paradise.
