Friendly staff. Good location. Clean towels and linen. Old and not properly working facilities. Did not have hot water. The drain from the shower was clogged.

There's no safe, no slippers. I expected more from a 4* hotel. The host is very nice.

The location is excellent, about 5 minutes from both the train station and the bus terminal, and about 10 minutes from Ortigia Island. I arrived from Taormina and made a day trip to Noto during my stay. After Syracuse, I went to Palermo, and this location was very helpful.
The staff are warm and have a homely atmosphere.
The facilities are old, but the hot water was good and the room wasn't cold, so I was very satisfied. I would like to stay again next time.

Most of all, I liked the hotel. Excellent location - on the one hand, close to the island of Ortigia, on the other, very close to the bus station. Friendly staff at the reception, they speak English, helped with an adapter for the socket (in the room the connector is on the sample side). Great breakfast. The only thing that marred the impression was the dampness in the room. Clothes and towels always remained damp. We had a room without a balcony - in this case it would have been very helpful.
