On July 5, 2023 we stayed at casa verga They advertise bed and breakfast, no breakfast. We ordered on booking and noted that the payment will be on the spot. We paid the manager of the place in cash 160 euros. They also charged a credit card. I contacted them several times to return the money and they ignore me. I also applied through Booking and they ignore me. If you are staying there, do not pay before checking your credit. They refuse to return the money.

Very welcoming place, in a very central area of Ortigia. Spacious, clean room with a balcony from which you can admire the temple of Apollo. Bathroom in the room. Very kind, friendly and super helpful staff, who gave us useful information to best visit the island. If I returned to Syracuse? I would definitely choose Casa Verga again. GF!

Cold room without heating, very noisy and completely absent staff I slept 4 nights no change of linen called many and many times but they never answered the phone, the TV does not work, completely disappointed and angry NOT RECOMMENDED

The location is spectacular, central and with a view of the temple of Apollo. Perfect cleaning, the managers are kind and friendly. The only flaw is the slightly springy mattress that makes you change. Overall very good, I would go back

Il posto è centralissimo e raggiungibile facilmente a piedi. La proprietaria disponibile ci ha spiegato come raggiungere le attrazioni e posti della città. Flessibilità negli orari sia per l’arrivo che per la partenza ci ha lasciato tutta la libertà. Ci ritornerei volentieri

Il posto è veramente ottimo, perché si trova vicino al parcheggio (5min) e nel centro di Ortigia. Abbiamo prenotato date le parecchie recensioni positive sulla signora Cinzia, ma quest'ultima non lavora più lì e viene gestita da altri titolari. Infatti ho preferito fare la recensione perché non mi è sembrato corretto utilizzare ancora" il nome " del vecchio Host. La camera è pulita e tutto sommato ci siamo trovati bene.

Quattro giorni in compagnia di due amiche. Due appartamentini indipendenti con bagno. Buono servizio e la pulizia. Personale in accoglienza molto carino e disponibile. Bagni molto puliti. Posizione centrale al secondo piano di uno stabile.
