We booked this hotel for a weeks stay as we had a wedding in Ortigia. There was 14 of us staying here including small children. We have honestly had one of the best holidays staying here at Kalaonda. The hotel was perfect for us as a family the children could play on the grounds and the pool was perfect. This hotel ticks all the boxes but what makes it truly special is the staff. A huge thank you to Juiliana, Steffania, Christian and Anna who looked after us all and went above and beyond to make our stay the best week possible. Amazing, kind and tentative staff, cleaners and maintenance staff also so lovely. They are all a credit to this hotel. Another thank you to Francesco at Green Rent (taxi) who took us everywhere as the hotel is quite remote so a car is required. Francesco and his staff were incredibly kind and helpful a true gentleman with lots of knowledge of the town. We really made some great friends from this holiday and we will definitely holiday again at Kalaonda. Highly highly recommend

We were guests of this resort from 19 to 23 August. Very beautiful location, situated in a rural context where you are pervaded by a pleasant feeling of peace and quiet. It enjoys a strategic position to reach the most beautiful beaches of the province of Syracuse. We stayed in a junior suite for four, spread over two levels, very comfortable and well ventilated. Breakfast with impeccable service, served in a large room with excellent homemade desserts. We were pleasantly surprised by the extraordinary courtesy of the manager (who with her smile managed to make us feel at home) and by the prompt availability of Leila (who resolved some incidents along the way without losing heart). The only flaw is the cleaning service, which - if improved - would give the right luster to a structure with much potential. No restaurant service. We had a great time and thank you for the pleasant stay! Ad Maiora!!!

Terrible! We were supposed to stay two nights but we ran away after the first. The room was not clean, damp, the bathroom had peeling plaster on the walls, the mosaic covering the bathroom was missing tiles, encrustations on the taps and towel holder. The bunk bed was in bad condition! The pool had cloudy water and the shower didn't work. The common areas were poorly maintained. The website said that there was a restaurant in the building that could be booked for the evening, but that's not true! They gave us the names of restaurants that could be reached by car. Breakfast starts at 8!!!!!!! For us it wasn't a good experience and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

La chambre que nous avons eu était très belle et spacieuse, climatisée. La literie est très bonne, le ménage est fait tous les jours. Un grand merci à Leila qui a été très agréable et serviable et qui a su nous donner de bons conseils et de bonnes adresses. En revanche, quelques points à savoir avant de séjourner dans cet hôtel : - voiture indispensable car très excentré de Syracuse - le petit déjeuner est correct sans plus, il faut réclamer le réassort des plats, le café est du Nescafé ! Le « vrai » café est un supplément payant - la demi pension est à bannir car uniquement servie le midi. De plus les plats (quasi toujours les mêmes) sont de piètre qualité, comme par exemple un sandwich mortadelle/fromage ….! Là aussi les boissons sont en supplément (y compris l’eau). Pas de fontaine à eau disponible. Une MINI box est proposée en remplacement du repas du midi si vous partez à la journée - compte tenu de notre départ en milieu de nuit, une box nous a été donnée en remplacement du dernier petit déjeuner (cf photo). Le contenu est à la limite de la moquerie (quelques bouchées de pizza pour l’une, 2 mini parts de gâteau pour l’autre accompagné d’une bouteille d’eau et d’un petit jus de fruit chimique) - des soirées sont organisées sur le site à côté de l’hôtel. La Musique est jusqu’au milieu de la nuit, avec feu d’artifice… Sur un séjour de 7jours il y a eu 5 nuits « animées »

Meravigliosa, gli spazi esterni sono incantevoli, stanza confortevole, personale super cortese. Posizione strategica per visitare la Sicilia orientale, da Isola delle correnti, Marzamemi, Avola, Noto, Isola di Ortigia. A 50 minuti cc dall'aeroporto di Catania. Da visitare la spiaggia di Fontane Bianche, la Riserva di Vendicari e la spiaggia di Calamosche. Numerose le spiagge ha poca distanza dalla struttura

Lieu très paisible, familial. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, invitent au repos, propre. J’y étais seule avec mes deux enfants et sur les 8 jours de séjour, notre lit et la chambre a été rangée 7 fois ! Piscine idéale, de bonne taille avec transat, chilienne. Il y a un bar extérieur et des tables à l’ombre. Le personnel a été très chaleureux et disponible … à l’accueil , ils ont fait l’effort de nous parler en français, on nous a conseillé d’aller à tel et tel endroit, et même les bons plans pour se garer dans Ortigia. Toujours un bonjour quand on croise du monde et un sourire. Ça fait toute la différence avec certains endroits froids. Buffet de petit déjeuner pas mal du tout. La dame avait même repéré que je prenais un cappuccino et elle me le ramenait avant même que je lui demande. Service de qualité. Petite chose à améliorer : je pense à deux choses qui nous ont gêné .. les gels douches shampoing n’étaient pas renouvelés et nous avons fini par acheté en supermarché Et le soir les extérieurs annexes sont loués pour des fêtes de famille je crois … et il y a du bruit jusqu’à environ minuit trente. Mais sinon j’y retournerai avec plaisir. Et c’est la première fois que je recommande un hôtel tellement il était bien! À bientôt Anna

Personale gentilissimo e professionale. Piscina ben tenuta, sdraio nuovissime e comodissime. Pranzo gustoso e di qualità. Super consigliato per una giornata di relax e spensieratezza. Ritorneremo sicuramente ogni volta che avremo voglia di un' esperienza rilassante :)
