Smal hotel only about a half mile from the castle. We were fortunate to have a lake view with a balcony. The room was clean and the staff were outstanding. The suggestions that we were given were outstanding. Some of the best food I have had in Italy so far. Bring your bathing suit so you can take a dip in the pool. Great breakfast too.

This hotel is situated right on the edge of the Lake Garda and is walking distance from the castle and a few restaurants. There is parking available. All the areas were very clean at all times. Basics are provided in the room ie showergel, handwash and shower caps. There is a mini fridge in the room as well. The towels provided were on the thin side would say they need replacing. The staff were helpful. There are chairs to relax in by the pool and in the garden and there is a table tennis table on the beach. The views form the dining room were beautiful. However, we felt that the breakfasts could have been better. The dining room is stark and not inviting enough in the evening to have dinner . There is an area outside the dining room for relaxing and the bar is open all the time. Overall the hotel requires updating but because of its location its easy to get to places from there.

Nice hotel in good location. Big garden and good pool.Lovely view . We upgraded to the front and watched the cormorants,a heron and an egret in the reed beds. There’s a pier to swim from. Good breakfasts, friendly, family run hotel. We both are elderly with walkers. It was 800 metres to the town centre and ferries, a bit far for us but we did it because the local taxi drivers would not do short distances- our only criticism.

Fabulous hotel, we upgraded to a deluxe balcony room overlooking the lake which was a beautiful view to wake up to. It’s not next level luxe but perfectly adequately furnished in a perfect location 5-10 mins walk to the castle and the ferry dock with exceptionally friendly staff. Plenty of sun loungers in garden and around garden area and a lovely treat to be spaced out in the huge garden area. Breakfast was excellent and the service was very friendly, the selection of cakes was a real treat in the Morning and there is a hot plate with freshly made scrambled eggs ( not the powder mass produced ones) and streaky bacon as part of the plentiful offering. We had lunch twice there and salads were fab. Lugana wine and aperols were our tipple of choice and the bar staff were available anytime. If you stay on the left side of the road towards the old town there is a pink building selling wines and olive oil and that was the best €10 lugana wine we found to buy. You’re spoilt for choice for restaurants and a couple of standouts were the lakeside Carouso, il girasole, Osteria al torcol, Al boccondivino trattoria. Castle, catullo grotto, therme spa ( 5 hours), Jamaica beach ( take shoes to wear in water), we took the fast ferry to Limone ( it was more like 2.5hrs not 2 hrs and is all inside with A/C) had an ice cream/spritz for an hourish then the ferry to Malcesine and a few hours there and fast ferry back. So many beautiful places to see in Lake Garda so hard to fit it all in!! Taxi transfer cost from Verona airport to hotel miramar was €80 with Sirmione taxis arranged ahead, and then our taxi to Verona city was €100 and we stayed a night there and taxi from Verona city to the airport was €27. One last tip was use insect repellent day and night you are by the lakeside so bites are plentiful!! Otherwise amazing

My family and I had a great time in his hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was extremely clean, the breakfast was delicious and loved all the pastries and great coffee. The swimming pool was great too and the hotel provides towels with an extra fee. The hotel has a great location near the old town of Sirmione, the hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Garda. I will book again for next year!.

We had a fantastic time in the Mirimar hotel, I would 100 % recommend it, The rooms are lovely ,sheets and towels changed every day, the staff couldn't be more friendlier and helpful. It's location is perfect too just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the centre but a short walk to reach it . The views of the lake are lovely especially the sunsets over the lake every evening. Breakfast and evening meals were really good too . Cannot fault anything about this hotel .

We stayed in the Hotel Miramar, Sirmione for two weeks B&B in August this year. From start to finish we had a fabulous holiday. The hotel staff are wonderful, friendly & very helpful. They don’t all speak english and really appreciated us trying our few Italian words and even helped us with pronunciation. The hotel itself was perfect. It’s a boutique 3 star hotel, but don’t let that fool you. It has everything you could want. We booked a room with large balcony facing the lake and it was fabulous. Lovely to sit and watch the boats go by and the sunsets were amazing. Room spotless with sofa, double bed, mini-bar and bathroom with shower & hairdryer. The pool and garden area is extremely clean and well maintained, plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and trees for shade. Direct access to lake for swimming. The bar is open 24 hours, which was great for a quiet drink when you returned to hotel in the evening. Breakfast was plentiful & tasty, no you’re not getting a big fry up but who wants that, your in ltaly! There’s a small tasty Lunch menu available, which we had on a few of our pool days. They also do evening menu if you don’t fancy going out. You have to book this during the day, including what food you want. But it was well worth doing so. The dinner was lovely and staff were great. Hotel location is perfect. A short walk one way into beautiful Sirmione old town centre. If you go the opposite way, you have a lovely long boardwalk all along the lake to a quaint little harbour with some lovely restaurants (Spiaggia sirmione). Sirmione old town is so beautiful but obviously as it was August, very busy. A great choice of restaurants, few shops and loads of shops selling ice cream of every imaginable flavour. We also got the boat over to Desenzano for the day which was also a lovely town, bigger than Sirmione. Big thanks to Stephen & all the wonderful staff at Hotel Miramar for making our holiday so special. We will definitely return, Debbie & Liam

Stayed here for 10 nights and it was great. Location is perfect, 10 mins walk to the main part of Sirmione and the hotel has fabulous views over lake which can be observed from the restaurent area, garden and pool area. Very quiet around the garden and pool area and there was always a sunbed and a shaded area available at any point in the day, whether it be an umbrella or under the lovely pine or olive trees. Rooms basic but clean and beds made everyday. Prices at the bar are reasonable for lunch and drinks. We found the staff very friendly, yes some don't speak fluent English but they give it a good go and at the end of the day, you're in Italy!! One tip, take beach shoes to enter the lake. It is a bit clay like on entering and a few pebbles but once in, amazing!
