Lovely place, wonderful people and amazing food! The rooms were pretty spacious except for small bathrooms. The staff was amazing and were so welcoming. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant (halibut!) and the breakfast was all homemade and simply great! Eggs plus fresh baked bread and homemade jams. Also other assorted tasty treats. The owner and her daughter were just so kind and did a wonderful job making us feel at home and cared for during our stay.

During 10 days traveling to cities and villages of Denmark, Hotel Inger provided the most gracious hospitality of all our various lodgings. Kudos to this family for maintaining a traditional inn with home style cooking and home style hospitality. Do not miss! The hiking in the area is epic.

Our room was Spartan but clean. The “bathroom” was tiny and not easy to use… The staff were lovely, and the hotel run by an on-site family. The food was exceptionably good. The best shellfish dinner I’ve ever had, with excellent wine matching (by the manageress, and the breakfast simple but so good, with specially selected cheese and homemade pastries and jams. Really something different - please don’t stop making the effort - it is appreciated! We’ll be back.
