staying nights on a ship on a dried up river in the middle of Skopje city was a great experience.
Though the room was "compact", it had all the expected amenities & everything worked fine.
Having our meals on the deck was very pleasant indeed, especially in the early autumn evenings. And prices were very reasonable, with a 10% discount for hotel guests. Service by all the staff was impeccable!
Unfortunately, not everything was perfect. The floorboards just outside our bathroom creaked (& bent) noticeably, possibly due to poor bath water draining that overtime had leaked into the wooden floorboards under the carpet, causing them to deteriorate over time. This needs to be fixed asap.
Hotel guests checking in face a long walk from the taxi dropoff location at the bridge about 200m away. This long walk is a challenge for senior travellers with big bags & taxi drivers are unwilling to help due to the risk of getting a ticket. For checking out, hotel staff assistance cannot be committed due to staff shortage.

Fun place to stay. Great location - right on the main square and a stone’s throw from the Old Bazaar, which is full of stores, bars and restaurants.

This was one of my favorite hotel stays ever! The staff at Hotel Senigalla are amazing. They are so kind and thoughtful and made the stay a blast. Would definitely recommend. Great food as well. Lovely rooms with beautiful river views.

Super cool place. All the tourist things to see are only a few minutes walk. Grocery store close by. Food is good. Staff is friendly. Decor is awesome. One of the best places I’ve stayed in.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. Watching the sunset from the outside bar was amazing and all of the staff were super friendly. The hotel is also centrally located so perfect for exploring the city. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if we return to Skopje
