"It's hard to describe. It's nearly 2300 per night. I called early to delay check-out for 1 hour. The reception downstairs didn't answer the phone. I had to go downstairs to talk to them in person. I had to get dressed. After that, someone else came to urge check-out at 11 o'clock. I called to ask why I was not notified. It was too noisy next to the hotel. There was construction going on. There was garbage everywhere. It was worrying. Anyway, there will be no next time. It would be better to stay in an international chain hotel!"
"The room is large and very clean, very close to the tourist area! We checked in early but they kept our things for us. The bed in this hotel is also very comfortable. I'm very happy"

"The Hotel was clean, unfortunately my room was very noisy as it was off the kitchen all I could hear was banging doors all morning, people talking & stomping around, there is also construction going on in neighbouring buildings. my bed was uncomfortable I could feel the springs in my back so had a pretty terrible sleep, this place needs some updating & modernising. The location was great walking distance to everything."
Oda No. 41"
"Hotel location is good, economical and practical hotel, the hotel is not far from the ramp up there is a supermarket, down is the bus station, go to Valletta to cross the road by bus 13.13A, go to Gozo and comino Island is but the bus stop on the road is 222, but the distance is a bit far, it takes 1 hour, After getting off at the end, you can go to gozo Island for a cruise. You can buy a ferry ticket for the return trip. You can also go to the small pavilion on the right side of the road. You can go to comino and then go to Gozo's speedboat. You can arrange your own time and finally Gozo returns by yourself. Breakfast is average, there are not many dishes. Service staff is very friendly and young"

"Friendly and helpful receptionists welcomed us and accommodated us for early check-in. We were not expecting much of the breakfast but, we enjoyed the coffee, various tea selections, fresh fruits, salad, cheese etc… It was enough for us. We only stayed one night and the charge was reasonable in the peak season for a last minute booking."
"Very cozy guesthouse that focus greatly on the customer experience. Yasser & Mila were gems that guaranteed us an excellent stay from breakfast till recommendations regarding activities! The guesthouse is well located close to restaurants and bus stop to explore the rest of the island. My partner and I definetely recommend to stay at The Maltese Sun once you're in Malta!"

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel was excellent. The rooftop pool and sunbathing area was open in February and immaculate. All staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. They made the trip for us. They helped us with travel and were on hand with any query. The staff at breakfast were exceptional.
The room was immaculate and a great size. The housekeeping staff were excellent. We loved the balcony.
The spa was lovely.
We loved the reception area and the coffee machine.
The location was very quiet apart from the nearby construction. The sea is very close, which we loved. It is not in the busy area - which is superb. It is on the beautiful bay. We loved everything about it. Thank you for making it such a memorable stay.
GGuest UserI stayed for several days at both the Victoria Hotel and visit the connected by the rooftop, their sister hotel The Palace. You have to start with the fact that these are not 4* and 5* hotels. Perhaps they were when they opened 20 years ago, today it is a maximum of 3* and 3.5*. They are simply dated, you can see it and smell it. If we are aware of it, almost everything else is ok: very friendly service (special thanks to the nice, elderly man at the reception), tasty and varied breakfasts, cozy swimming pools and rooftop bar. The quality of cleaning the rooms needs improvement, the location of the rooms is cruicial (avoid rooms from the driveway for deliveries, unless you like to hear knocks and screams from 6am onwards). And the price: if you manage to find an offer up to 100e / day, that's ok, above that is not worth it.
AAnonymous UserThere is hardly a better location in Sliema. The shopping mall is just 100 m away and the ferry is 5 minutes away.
We had a room with a sea view on the 9th floor - the best view you could wish for.
The breakfast was very good and everything was very clean and well maintained.
The staff are particularly worth mentioning, they are always friendly and helpful.

TTravel888This was a lovely hotel in a great location but I had problems checking in: the booking was in my correct last name but my first name had been amended to Daniel! No idea where that had come from and hotel initially wouldn’t give me the room. I had to chat to an advisor at Trip.com who said the error was with a third-party. It was eventually resolved but I’ve still no idea how this happened.
Big room, very clean, nice pool and seating area overlooking the bay. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Plenty of local buses outside, heaps of restaurants and a nice promenade to walk along the coast.
MMAKIIt was a great location.
I was able to watch the sunrise over the ocean right in front of me.
The bus stop was nearby, so I was able to get to my desired tourist spots without any problems, and it was a great trip.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The building is old, so they were carrying out construction work, and when sparks flew from the guarded construction area next to the elevator on the 11th floor, I was worried if the hotel was safe when I returned from sightseeing, but it was fine. It's a funny story now.
If I come again, I'd like to rent a room with a kitchen at this hotel.
IIrinaSolA good clean hotel in the very centre of Sliema. Value for money. The room is bright, spacious, has a kettle and coffee making facilities, a safe, a fridge, a small balcony. Nearby there are bus stops in all directions, shops, restaurants, ferries and cruises. Check-in at the nearby Mr Todd. 24-hour reception, friendly and helpful staff. I can recommend this hotel.
GGuest Userit was a good experience, with one exception, I had some Italian girls as neighbors, absolutely rude, they talked very loudly almost screaming, incessantly , especially late in the night...someone threatened them with the police without any result. I think the hotel management should do more in this regard!
The average price for hotels in Sliema is AED 811 on weekdays, and AED 797 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
