Exceeded expectations! Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is great! Cute area, nice to walk around, Very German. Definitely would be back! Breakfast was ok, bread, cheese, ham, bit of fruit , juice , coffee , water. It has a gym, tiny but does the job.

We stayed here for 9 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was good, had a closet for clothes, no drawers, room was spacious, bed comfortable, staff were great. The only thing is their Buffett breakfast is too expensive, 17.50 Euro per person. There is a bakery up the street behind the church, it had some great breakfast sandwiches, so we chose to eat there. Staying right in the middle of Gräfrath was magical. There are a few restaurants there open into the evening, nothing much is open in the morning for breakfast. If you stay here you will love it. The church’s bells ring at 7 am every morning.

We came with our pet which meant that we got an absolutely outdated room in an annex. The room was way too small. And the bathroom was actually unsafe. The local church bells woke us up at 7am. My daughter had used *********** to book a two nights stay for us and had provided her credit card details but that information never reached the hotel reservation system. So I had to pay cash for both nights upon arrival. But after a sleepless first night we decided to cancel the second night. At the front office we asked for a refund but our request was turned down.

Das Hotel ist im typisch bergischen Stil, liegt sehr zentral. Zimmer groß und sauber, gut eingerichtet. Was ich nicht mag: In einem Hotel dieser Klasse könnte das WC vom Bad getrennt sein. Eine Schiebetür als Trennung zum Schlafzimmer mag ich auch nicht. Das mag stylish aussehen, aber der Partner wacht auf, wenn der andere nachts aufs WC geht weil die Schiebetür aus Glas ist und somit der ganze Raum hell ist.

Da wir beruflich in diese Gegend mussten, hab ichs einfach nach der Lage ausgesucht und war total überrascht! Das Hotel liegt im historischen Kern von Grefrath, entzückende Schindelhäuser ,man fühlt sich gleich in die Vergangenheit zurück versetzt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nebenhaus gebucht ,das wie ein kleines Apartment war. Gehbehinderte nehmen besser Zimmer im Hotel,da es steil bergauf geht. Sehr gut ausgestattet,Kaffee,Tee,gute Badezimmer Utensilien. Auch meinem Wunsch nach extra weichem Kopfkissen wurde nachgekommen,Ich hatte sogar 2. Nachteil: durchs Kopfsteinpflaster etwas laut bei gekippt Fenster. Frühstück war hervorragend, es gab nix was gefehlt hätte und das Service war sehr freundlich. Veganer geeignet! Wir bekamen bei der Ankunft einen Gutschein für einen Pfiff Altbier im Hauseigenen Brauhof. Liegt ein wenig versteckt,aber gut und typisch zu Essen, Portionen gross.
