Fantastic restaurant with meals that look like pieces of art and taste delicious. Very friendly and welcoming service in wonderful surroundings in the mountains. Lovely idyllic view on the terrace. Absolutely a recommendation when visiting the Wildenkaiser area.

What a breathtaking location with a top restaurant (top Chef) and wonderfully nice hotel. The breakfast is also simply magical. Awesome, definitely recommended. The owners do everything to make your stay great.

My wife and I visited the day spa including breakfast. Staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was very enjoyable and offered a good selection of cheese, meats, bread, yoghurts, fruit and cooked options. The spa was clean and well equipped, the views from the heated outdoor pool were great. Overall, brilliant value for money and we would definitely visit again.

Breathtaking and such hospitality from moment we arrived. The chalet was perfect, so nicely decorated to such high standard. 20 min walk into town, great for dogs. Food in hotel was 5 star, just like the owners. Nothing to fault at all. Truly first class. Will definitely return

Haben dieses Minihotel für 1 Nacht besucht, bekamen 1 Doppelzimmer, sah sehr nett aus, jedoch in der Früh durch Lieferservice laut. Da etliche Zimmer unbelegt waren, bekamen wir die Ostseite zugewiesen, die am lautesten und vom Ausblick die schlechteste war. Das Service beim Abendessen derart unfreundlich, waren die meisten Sitzplätze frei, bekamen den schlechtesten dunklesten und lautesten (durch Kleinkinder) Platz fürs Abendessen. Dann plötzlich unehrlich freundlich geworden, da sie selber merkte, dass sie mit ihren Äußerungen zu weit gegangen ist. Dieses sog. 4 Sterne Hotel bietet nicht einmal ein Frühstücksbuffet, hatte lieblos trockenes Brot im Körbchen, Chefin kam mit Trödlerwagerl, hat Mini Frühstücksdinge angeboten, traurig für 4 Sterne Hotel...

Wir haben im Mai 2025 drei unvergesslich schöne Urlaubstage im Hotel Hochfilzer verbracht. Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei Weitem übertroffen. Das sehr hochwertig ausgestattete Hotel ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Herzlichkeit der Familie Hochfilzer hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Besonders zu erwähnen ist das unfassbar gute 5-Gänge Menü am Abend, worauf der Hotelgast sich den ganzen Tag schon freuen kann. Wir werden definitiv sehr bald wieder kommen.

Wir danken Heidi und Helmut für die perfekte Urlaubswoche. Das mit viel Hingabe geführte Hotel bietet allen Komfort gepaart mit einer absoluten Spitzenküche. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Wir haben jeden Moment genossen. Die Küche ist auf sehr hohem Niveau. Beginnend beim individuellen Frühstück bis hin zum abwechslungsreichen 5 Gang Menü am Abend. Die Lammhüfte unter der Räucherglocke, dass Beef Tatar sowie die Suppen und Consommé generell sind eine Reise wert! Der Spa ist mit drei Saunen (Infrarot, Finnisch und Dampf) und einem Infinitypool mit Blick auf die Hohe Salve sehr gut ausgestattet.
