Third visit here. Another quiet and relaxing 10 days. Overall a great stay, but as some previous reviews stated, standards have dipped slightly. This appears to be down to new, mostly young, inexperienced staff. But I think over time things will improve. We had perfectly lovely stay. Room clean and comfortable. Cava, chocolates, bottle of water and big bowl of fruit in room. Beds comfy. Bathroom fully equipped. However, as we stated on our previous stays...they need upgrading to walk in showers! Climbing into and standing in slippery bath with overhead shower really not good!! Restaurant: could not fault the food. Michelin star quality. Gala dinner especially delicious. Pool: lots of comfy loungers, no need to save a bed any time of day! Spa: didn't have treatment this time. But indoor pool and sauna etc fab. Gym a bit sparse, but given my husband was often only one in it, it was ok! Staff, albeit inexperienced, are friendly, polite and try their best. Salvador, Andi and Andreas especially nice. Two other young ladies too, didn't get their names , but they run the bar. Fab. Overall, lovely hotel if you want peace and tranquility, good food, comfy beds, a good night's sleep and a quiet pool experience. Average age over 60. A few younger (and louder often too noisy for this hotel!!). May return again...if bathroom sorted!!

My wife and I had another very enjoyable stay at La Quinta. As many have said its a small Hotel that provides a peaceful experience in relaxed surroundings. A really great and clean pool with comfortable loungers and good quality parasols. Pool bar service provided all day long with a lifeguard on hand if needed and I also noted the lifeguard was very attentive to people who needed any assistance in and around the pool area. Nicely kept garden area surrounding the pool area with grass cut once a week taking around 1.5hrs. Yes believe it or not grass does not cut itself! The reception very helpful and friendly as required. The breakfast service was very good. Nice selection of buffet options and a served on hot food menu choice. The evening meals were all very good and varied every day with main courses including 2 choices of fish, meat or vegetarian options. In addition, an option of a soup starter followed by a good and daily changing choice of cold buffet alongside the main course and choices of buffet desserts with ice cream/sorbet. A very good selection of wine with many Minorcan wines to choose from. Our comment on the evening meal is to suggest a fuller explanation of the main courses to include accompanying ingredients such as potato, vegetables, sauces etc....With regards staff during the restaurant service, we found all waiting staff to be very friendly, professional and efficient. We are always mindful and grateful that staff at La Quinta have excellent English language proficiency. I can't imagine many staff working at Hotels in the UK could do the same in Spanish! The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage space for clothes etc... The bathroom is very functional. We would say the shower water pressure is a bit low but can understand the reasons for this with regards water saving. Very good daily room servicing.

Let me start off by saying that this review will be positively bias as my wife and myself enjoyed a great relaxing holiday at La Quinta. La Quinta Hotel and Spa – charm, quiet, relaxed, comfy and tranquil – that for us in a nutshell is La Quinta. In advance of our 10 day stay we had read a number of other reviews on La Quinta and I guess we knew what to expect – both good and not so good. Yes its adults only and this helps with the relaxing overall ambiance. Would we return. Yes, very much so, and we do look forward to returning – though maybe we would not again look to choose the last week before they close up for the winter season as we did think that this affected service levels and consistency of hotel offerings. The location was ideal, very quiet location only a 5 mins stroll away from a couple of beaches and the Marina. A shop is only next door for any odds and ends needed. The manager Eva and her staff endeavour to look after guests and care about the hotel which is shown by Eva not only responding to reviews on TripAdvisor but also sending guests a questionnaire two days into a stay and also post stay questionnaire as well. I personally feel that if Eva can ensure La Quinta can in future offer a CONSISTANT high level of service that future guests will enjoy stays even more. – Eva already knows this and I understand plans are in place in this respect. Check in. Very quick and efficient, although we arrived prior to the official check in time we were offered our room immediately and were pleased to see that they had provided a room in our desired location. Thank you. The reception staff also offered us a complimentary drink on arrival and also gave us a complimentary voucher for a glass of Cava whenever we choose to take it. Nice touch, thank you. The receptionist talked us through a fair few things we needed for our stay and also about the hotel facilities. Room. Our ground floor room was delightful and very clean. A good size with ample wardrobe and drawer space. The two comfy single beds were pushed together to offer a double bed although the bed linen and covers were still made as single beds. As others have said in reviews maybe could do with extra power sockets but we found that to be a minor irritant. That said, my wife may say different as she found it difficult to use a hairdryer with access to a mirror at same time. Bathroom was also very decent although maybe a little dated. A bath with a shower over the top was available. The air con was fully working and powerful. It was nice to be able to gain access to the pool from our veranda and to be able to wander back and forth as we wanted. Half Board – restaurant and food. Half board consisted of breakfast and dinner. At the time of booking we did consider only B&B but the extra rate for dinner was such a good price that we decided to book half board thinking that it was such a good rate that we may not use restaurant on some days any eat out. Lovely hotel and rooms with generally lovely staff. Restaurant was chaotic with many of our group 'giving up' waiting for a main course. Maître d was arrogant and very rude to me. Complaint lodged with manager was ignored. They need a buffet servery or many more staff!

Hotel very comfortable although dated. Food variable, the buffet first course and desserts very good but soups and waiter service main courses not so good. Cuitadella lovely to visit, hotel puts on a complimentary bus. Cala'n Bosch port very pretty with a few nice shops. Pool area lovely. Very quiet and peaceful. Rooms nice, plenty of storage and comfortable beds with crisp sheets.
