Our recent 5-night stay at Hotel El Río was truly magical. We were looking for a true jungle experience en ohhhh did we find it! We booked the ‘Guadua’ bamboo palapa for an immersive experience. Waking up to the tranquil sounds of the jungle, with monkeys playfully leaping in the trees near our palapa and the soothing river nearby, provided a magical start to each day. The staff’s exceptional kindness made us feel truly welcome and well-cared-for; no request was too much. They care about the environment and try to make your stay as sustainable as possible. We enjoyed various activities, including a cave exploration with Luis, horseback riding with Samuel, a jungle hike with Willington and bird watching with Sebastian. Each adventure was both thrilling and breathtaking. We highly recommend doing multiple activities. For relaxing afterwards we booked some excellent massages with Luz, Paola and Catharina. We really enjoyed the food the kitchen crew prepared, especially the local cuisine dishes. We arrived as strangers and departed feeling like family. We highly recommend Hotel El Río to anyone seeking an unforgettable nature experience. See you soon, cause we are definitely coming back!

Top-notch experience from beginning to end. The hotel, the food, experiences, pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. The river - epic! The staff was so courteous and kind and didn’t miss a beat. One of my favorite hotels in Colombia by far, a must visit! 🌟

This is our second visit to El RÍO HOTEL Casa Boutique, and to be honest, we just can't get enough. First and foremost, this isn't your typical hotel. I view this place as an immersive experience that offers direct contact with nature. The actual house is stunning. It has been designed and decorated with such style that it seamlessly blends with the surrounding landscape. There's a pool, a jacuzzi, and, as if that weren't enough, you also have access to a natural river for bathing and having a great time. The place is as comfortable as it is beautiful, and I enjoyed restful nights of sleep. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we savored typical Colombian dishes. To top it all off, I had the best shower experience ever. Seriously, one of the highlights was the shower in my room. It featured a large showerhead with excellent water pressure, the perfect temperature, and an incredible view of the jungle. Simply unbeatable.

We repeated el tio hotel for the third time. They keep improving what was already ver good. Setting, location , accommodation and food were all excellent. The ladies managing the spa were also excellent. Plenty of things to do or just relax, if that is the plan. Service was excellent too. Thanks to all

Great boutique hotel to rest and live beautiful moments. The river walk and other activities are incredible. The attention of all the staff is unmatched and the food is all excellent, the menu is varied; unbeatable breakfasts. A great cocktail bar.
