This guesthouse couldn't be in a more central location, just off Sorrento's main square (Piazzo Tasso), so it was only a few minutes walk away from not just the central attractions and shopping area of the city, but also the pickup points for bus tours of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii/Herculaneum. Nothing particularly lavish about the facilities, but the rooms were comfortable, clean air conditioned and en suite, so we were perfectly happy with our experience. Salvatore, though, went above and beyond for us as a host - because of the early start (8.30 am) of the aforementioned tours, we were unable to have breakfast inside many mornings, so he would pack us a bag filled with fruit, pastries, yoghurt and water, which was very much unexpected! I'd definitely recommend Maison d'Art for anyone planning to stay in Sorrento.

Walk downstairs and in the heart of Piazza Tasso. Best location to stay in Sorrento. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious for family of four and very comfortable. All, bars, restaurants and shopping are at your fingertips.

Lovely small hotel in the heart of Sorrento. Stayed for one week and loved the location also the breakfast is very good the staff is responsible and respectful. The only small thing that I think would be a great addition is a towel rail for the towels. I would definitely stay here again.

What a hidden Gem. We love the location, the fully renovated hotel was absolutely wonderful, the bathroom was fabulous, the bed comfortable and the modern decor was very inviting. Our host Salvatore was extremely helpful without being intrusive. As we had a early excursion and breakfast was prepaid Salvatore provided a bagged breakfast to see us through. Awesome stay, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Lovely small hotel in the heart of Sorrento. Stayed for one week and loved the location. Very central to shops, bars, restaurants etc,. Breakfast was great, and was given a takeaway one when we were out on early booked trips. Room was spacious with good A/C and plenty of sockets. Salvatore was friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Only one small thing that I think would be a great addition is a towel rail, as there was nowhere to hang towels. All in all a great hotel in a fabulous location. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the best stay in Sorrento. The room was beautiful. We had a queen bed with two very comfortable cots provided for our teens. It was one of the most comfortable beds we had in Italy. Salvador was awesome at helping us set up transport from the airport and giving recommendations of how to best see the Almafi coast in one big day. The breakfast, especially fresh chocolate croissants and espresso was amazing. The location is also very central to the City and the train station. It couldn't be better.

Salvatore was an amazing host from start to finish. Breakfasrt was diverse and delicious and the coffee was always perfect. Salvatore arranged a great hiking trip for us and for our transfer back to NAP. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. Plus we found a lavanderia nearby that took care of one week of dirty clothes in four hours for 20 Euros. Highly recommend one of Salvatore’s favorite restaurants Benvenuti a Casa. Great atmosphere and delicious pastas? Enjoy wonderful Sorrento!,,

Salvatore rocks!
Salvatore was super helpful and charming. We were chatting (on What’s App) about timing of arrival and directions well before I got there, which was so helpful. He was sorry he didn’t have enough vegan options for my first breakfast (I hadn’t told him I was vegan) and made up for it for my second breakfast. I would love to return. Also, it’s location is perfect.
