"The hotel is not a five-star equipment service attitude. Generally, many local hotels are much better than their services. This home has no transportation service. Other homes are sold too expensive. It is really not worth living."
"The room is large and clean. Although the decoration is simple, it is clean and comfortable. The location is good, right on the beach. You can see the sea view when you open the room. The room has a balcony and there is a paid parking lot. It's convenient to be right next to it. There is also a restaurant, we had a dinner here and the service was very good. Be warm and courteous."
"We booked a double room, we got a room with 2 beds. After we asked to move room, we were taken to the edge of the hotel with a highway on the window just a nightmare.

"We found this hotel after reading reviews as we wanted a sea view but easy access to the town.
What a superb place, free upgrade, great breakfast options, front desk was wonderful and helped with everything including advice on things to do, taxis and printing tickets. Just the right distance to get into town, further up the hill would be too far. Rooms incredibly clean and great bed. Loved it and highly recommend"

"The hotel on the cliff has a particularly beautiful scenery. The service staff is friendly and thoughtful, full of details. The hotel breakfast and facilities are of good quality, making us feel at home. It is highly recommended 👍👍. The room is clean and tidy, and toiletries are available. Welcome champagne 🍾 + unbeatable sea view balcony 🥂... The ceiling of vacation ⛱️."
"Facing Mount Vesuvius, the hotel is in a very good location and close to the pier. There are many restaurants and small shops around. Breakfast is average, not much delicious. The service staff is very friendly. Parking is 20 euros per day."
"Great hotel. Everything is clean, beautiful, tasteful. The location is convenient, away from the noisy center, so there is perfect silence at night. The staff is friendly and courteous. The men in the restaurant simply captivated us: kind, caring, attentive, especially Franco with his charming smile. True Italian hospitality! How delicious!!! My wife is lactose intolerant, so they customized all the dishes and compliments individually for her. It’s incredibly nice, thank you all so much! The room is comfortable, clean and the view is fantastic! We will definitely come back here! We recommend it to everyone from the bottom of our hearts."

Excellent
CcharlottieotsieTook my dad on a trip to Italy for his birthday and the first night of our stay couldn't have gone better here. Margrita was so welcoming and friendly, offering us a glass of juice or water upon arrival. She then gave us a plethora of different croissants to choose for as part of the breakfast. There was a classic course of buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes, then a flavoured croissant, and a plate of fresh fruit. The other people staying there said it was the best breakfast ever, and to be honest, I agree. The rooms were incredibly tidy and neat, complete with a fridge to store water for enduring the heat (air con worked a treat, and there were also complimentary water bottles on our first night). The views from the little balconys in the common areas were beautiful overlooking the lemon trees. The location was great, about a 15 minute walk to the beach, which was perfect for us as we were out of the hustle and bustle. And about a 10 minute walk from the station when we arrived. All in all 10/10 honestly, and I don't usually leave reviews but felt the need to do this place and margrita justice! 😊
JjjtonyhoWe had a beautiful stay at Villa Oriana Relais. The hotel exceeded our expectations in all aspects. Staff were so warm and friendly and very accommodating, such a hidden gem. We took the train from Naples to St Angello station (one stop from sorrento) which is the closest station, then a 15 euro taxi to the hotel. We walked into sorrento every day which took around 20 minutes but we enjoyed the walk and its nicer have the hotel located in a peaceful area and away from the busy town. Breakfast each morning was wonderful with home made cakes and quiche from fresh local ingredients like lemons from the hotel orchard. We would definitely recommend this place and stay again.
IiDomelIt was quite a surprise staying at B&B Sorrento Central. Totally exceeded our expectations in terms of room amenities. As for the breakfast, do not expect a grand spread. However, they do have waffles, pancakes, bread, croissants, cornflakes, mueslis and yogurts. They have a water dispenser for filling up for water and a coffee machine that is available for morning breakfast. Walking to town takes about 8-10minutes, the port however takes around 25-30mins.
Do note that there is a bowling alley right beside the B&B and there is a chance of hearing balls rolling down the lanes till 11pm 😆
BBabarGreat hotel with excellent location. Right in the heart of Sorrento. 5 min walk to Main Street with shopping and eating, 10 min walk to train and bus station.
Breakfast was amazing with great local selections. Simple but very elegant choices. Rooms were great. We had two rooms and each room had it own decore and colors.
GGuest UserGreat bathroom, comfy bed, spacious room with a lovely city view. The staff was so nice and helpful, she introduced the local food, attractions and transportation to us patiently.
Clean and perfect!
范范思the hotel is close to the train station and bus terminal (also flix bus), but it would take 15-20 minutes to walk to the ferry to Capri.
our bus ran late and it was so good that the staff was waiting for us at the door. she explained to us all about the hotel, showed us the room, and then a bit about Sorrento, where to eat, what to see, where is the best spot to see the sunset, how to get to the ferry, and etc. very friendly and helpful. breakfast is great. oh, the drinks from the front desk are cheaper than those you get from the supermarkets and shops!
AAngelaHotel itself is pretty standard as what you would expect from any big chain hotels, but service was definitely not up to par. We were told there would be valet service - there was none. The bus boys just told us to park ourselves. FINE. Then after I've checked in I asked if the luggage will be sent up to our room - reception then asked if I got a luggage ticket to which I told him we weren't given anything. The bus boys just stood around the entrance. He said they would be sent up shortly but given how they were just standing around we just took our luggage ourselves - mind you I am 6 months pregnant and obviously so but they did not offer any help. Once we got to our room the air conditioning was not working - we kept dialing it down but there was no air. Amazing to find out the AC wasn't working for the price we paid. The room is stuffy and even the hallway was cooler. Also during our stay there was conference - we were given a room on the same floor as conference participants and as expected they were loud and rowdy at night. We could hear them talking in the hallway at night when we called reception they said there was nothing they can do. So very helpful. Upon check out, the same bus boy stood around while watching a pregnant lady wheel 4 pieces of luggage out. I really just wonder what they do other than standing around all day hanging in the shade. Service is terrible here and I've had better service at small boutique or family run hotels than here. The only upside to this stay was that the rooms are spacious and clean and that's about it.
GGuest UserThe facilities are not working in the room, the TV has sky but only in italian and you cannot work it with other channel as the button is on the top of the tv, you have to stand up by a table to work it, so we didn’t watch very inconvenient. The tub is not working, the power shower has weak water to come out so not a power shower, tv is not working in the bathroom. Headboard has it’s big scratch that looks scrapy leather like very old. The bed linens has brown stains and so as the chairs. Ahhh looks not cleaned for a long time. No options for breakfast, all ready made breakfast like cereals, bought bread and cold cuts from cheap shop.. the fridge is not cold in the room. Needs improvement as to facilities and food service.
AArgyro ApergiBeing a hotel manager myself, the hotel is not up to a 4 star level. Starting from the positives, the hotel is on a great central location, very close to the beach, the marinas, all restaurants-shops & train bus stations. The reception team was lovely & the receptionist who checked us in (Terry) was very nice & provided us with the info needed (breakfast times, wifi code etc). The reception lobby was nice. The room was a double standard but very noisy as it was facing the street, the balcony was a Juliette balcony so you cannot use it to sit etc, the shower was the tiny & old,the minibar did not work at all (was not cooling) & when reported to the reception they did not offer to look at it.no iron or ironing board in the room, when we asked for it, we were told to pick it up from the reception and the iron had limescale on it so it was not usable (could stain our clothes. The cleaninless of the room was fair, however I could see that the floor was not hoovered or mopped during our stay. The breakfast was nice and had some traditional items, the service was good but many items were finished by 9:30 and were not replenished as the breakfast was ending at 10am. This is not right, the breakfast buffet must have enough offering until closing time. Also it is served indoors so for those who want a breakfast view, it’s not ideal. The pool was small but clean.
The hotel amenities, service, offering & status of rooms reflect to a 3 star hotel and the price per night (€200 approx) is quite high for this type of hotel.
GGuest UserI would think with the pictures showing a pool and daybeds these would be free but when we got there they told us they are 15euro each day to use even though we are hotel guests. The reason we chose a hotel with a pool rather than paying for 1 at the beach. Very disappointed.
The showers are very small we aren’t big people and found it hard showering.
Balcony was good as could rinse clothes and dry outside but just placed over the chairs.
No kettle in the room but can get free coffee with breakfast. Breakfast was included which was great.
Scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, danishes, juice and coffee.
Location was great coming off the ferry as right at the port with luggage.
If going to town it’s a big stair case up to the top or you can walk along the beach to the lift down the road which is 2 euro to use.
The bar upstairs has amazing sunsets, lovely watching the sun go down and they have a DJ playing lovely slow singing music which all generations could enjoy. The drinks are slightly priced at the bar though.
The restaurant at bottom of hotel was great. 7 euro Margherita pizza and you get 10% off being a hotel guest.
I would probably next time stay in town as closer to everything but I like walking and hiking for exercise so the big staircase worked for me but wouldn’t for lots of people. I think the hotel may of said they have free taxi to town but not 100 % sure.
The average price for hotels in Sorrento is AED 1,538 on weekdays, and AED 1,559 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
