When I arrived at the hotel at 8:30 p.m., I told the kitchen to get off work! And there are no restaurants open nearby! The people here are really too Buddhist and too lazy! There is basically no service to speak of in the hotels here! Breakfast is average! The fruit is not fresh!

There are only a few rooms in total, very quiet! The breakfast is not very rich, but the taste is ok. Compared to the more popular little red house, I think this place is more comfortable. At least I don’t have to worry about not having enough hot water for a shower.

Booked and paid upon demand for one single room for 5 - 9 August 2024. Cancelled 7 days before planned arrival, but was offered a 5% refund only. We requested a full refund on the day after the monies were drawn, on 30 July. So we cancelled 7 days ahead of planned arrival, but the hotel wants to unlawfully keep all of the NOK 15440. Bad business practices.

My wife and I were greatly looking forward to this overnight visit but were unable to travel by car to the Hotel as there was a snow warning in place and the road from our previous overnight accommodation was closed meaning we had to undertake a 535km detour from Sweden to Norway which took hours of course. We messaged the Hotel well ahead of our planned arrival time to advise of the problem but they insisted on charging us for the night anyway. Great hospitality I don’t think; I’m proud to say that this hasn’t been my experience in my home Country. We already have another Lofoten trip planned but needless to say with other hospitality destinations.

We spent one night and decided to come back for our last night in the Lofotons. Very, very accommodating. Very hospitable hosts. The rooms are very nice. The restaurant - The Havet- served one of the best meals we’ve had in Norway. We want to come back the next time we come to the Lofotons

The hotel personnel is very friendly and they provided a warm welcome. The room for three people doesn't have the best view but is still nicely decorated. The breakfast has a beatiful atmosphere and view, but the scrambled eggs and the pancakes were prepared early and kept warm, which reduced their quality quite much. At the moment, the parking lot is quite a construction site, but this will surely change in the future:) Other than that, the stay was very nice and Sørvågen is a good location to stay.
