I love this hotel! My husband and I recently stayed here for 9 nights (longer than most people stay I think as it's right on the Camino de Santiago and most people are passing through) and we really enjoyed it. Some of the staff speak very little English, but that gave us the chance to practice our very limited Spanish! An exception was the waitress, Estella, and Alejandro. The food was great, the service friendly and efficient, and I couldn't fault the cleanliness. At breakfast, the selection was adequate, but what I liked was that not too much of anything was put out at once, and Christina or Pepe (the owner) replenished the plates quickly. In other words, food wqs not left standing around for ages. In the evening some of the locals came in to the bar, which helped to create a good atmosphere. The dinner menu was varied and we didn't have wait long for the food. We had a hire car and parking was no problem. And they're only about 2 km from a great beach! (We did try others, but San Pedro was the best) Small supermarket in easy walking distance for anything you need. We also needed to visit the pharmacy, who were very helpful. The location may be a drawback for some people. It's very close to the motorway, though there's no noise, but not really near any major attractions. But we had a brilliant time.
