The standout feature was definitely the location – it’s incredibly convenient, situated just a short walk from South Bank, the Convention Centre, and a great selection of cafes, restaurants, and public transport options. It made exploring the city so easy.
The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated having a kitchenette and laundry facilities available.
While the decor was a little dated in parts, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort and functionality of the space. If you’re looking for a well-located and practical place to stay in Brisbane, The Capitol Apartments is a solid choice.

Didn’t have room service which is fine, wish there were more towels and shampoo etc as we stayed for 3 days and reception hours are very limited hard to find help. Short front desk hour and no front desk on Sunday.

Great location
Would’ve been a higher score but for the lifts being out of action on 1 day. Luckily we were only on the 4th floor (or whatever the lift decides is that floor for that particular trip in it)
Woken up by the fire alarm going off late one night as one of the residents burnt his toast. Half hour out on the street at midnight while the fire brigade investigated. Not the apartment managements fault I guess
