Sailrock Resort provides pristine rooms, friendly staff, stunning Atlantic views, and top-notch amenities, including sports equipment. However, some guests noted the high cost of accommodation.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week and everything was exceptional. I love the privacy of the location.. customer service was exceptional, to the manger to staffs. General manger, Putra went over the top by even cooking me traditional Indonesian food because we were talking about it and how I never had it. The view was amazing, food was excellent and I can’t wait to go back.

Sailrock is a beautiful hotel - one of two on the island and the other hotel is just opening up. Very relaxing get away with the Atlantic ocean on one side of hotel and Caicos bay on the other! ALL the staff were super friendly and provided high-end service. A shout out to Kiki and Ashley and ALL the staff.

We had an amazing time. We did take the new Miami flight and was so easy. My husband and I were lucky enough to stay in a one bedroom villa for 10 days. It was super private and peaceful. A few things to note that the resort is on a peninsula which the villa and rooms are on one side and the beach and Cove are on the other side. We were not aware of that. It was super windy on the sound side which is the villa side so we could hardly use the pool. Of course this is not the resorts problem but just to point out. Our villa did have a washer and dryer however I wish we had know before and we could have packed lighter and brought detergent. We did think it was also strange that could not walk from our villa to the beach. We asked about moving to a villa that we could and we were told that we could not. The resort was not full so I thought that was strange. The check in process was also odd in that we were walked to the villa and never explained anything about how to get lunch, call a buggy. We had traveled all day and we were hungry for lunch so it was an exhausting start trying to figure out how to get lunch and where to go, who to call. The first few hours we were not happy. Oddly, the resort did have a loss of power the first time two hours and the second time for just a few minutes. I did think that during the first power outage during dinner, the manager should have been checking on guests that were still in the rooms or villas. With the power outage you had no way to get a ride to the Cove for dinner, call for room service and we had no lights other than our phones. However, we noticed the manager was having dinner with business partners. I feel like the resort should have def checked on guests during that time. We did enjoy the variety of the menu that changed daily for dinner. Another thing to point out which I hope the resort reads in this post is that beach service is non-existent. They are totally missing out on money with service of drinks and food to the beach. They have one person working the beach towel service area and never comes to check on you and offer you to purchase anything else during the day. You could put flags on the chairs when you are ready to order or need service. The other person is lazy and is irritated when you walk up and need a beach chair and towels. I would change this policy and get some help at the beach. You are missing out on big money. We did the meal plan because we were staying for 10 days and didn't know what to expect to pay for prices and taxes associated with the resort. I did think that with what we paid we should have been able to order any drinks that were on the menu without any extra fees. We had emailed the resort prior to arriving about but groceries for the villa and were told the resort had certain items however upon arrival we were told they did NOT have them. This was a little irritating as we would have packed and planned to bring those items. Communicat

We stayed 3 nights but wished it could have been longer. This is a beautiful property and the staff are are all top notch. I was lucky enough to have one of the villas. I didn't want to leave. They are very large and the private pool was so great. The water was warm (they can change the temperature) but it made it so nice to sit in and watch the stars at night. So many stars and such a memory. You can get to the beach from villa down a sandy hill. You also have the the cove which they can take you in the buggy's if you don't want to walk. Outdoor shower is nice but lots of mosquitos so be aware. The food was good and lots of choices. Only issue was when they did the beach night and they had too many people at once and it took long time for food to arrive. Otherwise all was great. The massages, ATV tours and cocktail class are all really good. If you want a relaxing vacation or something with activities this is for you. I would come back in a heartbeat.

There is definitely a private island vibe here and it is beautiful and quiet. We have been to several islands over the years and were intrigued by supposed ease of the American Airlines flight that is brand new to South Caicos. One thing to note: if you take that flight - you must go through Customs in Miami and then back through TSA - which is a total nightmare. We had to run to make our flight to NYC. Will never do it again and cannot recommend. As far as Sailrock, while there were many lovely things about the resort including very friendly staff, the poor service wore us down eventually (we were there for 3 nights). Waiting endlessly for food to arrive, housekeeping leaving dishes out for 2 nights in our villa, asking us to leave to go to the airport 3.5 hours early (where there is not even a concession stand yet). It did not ruin our trip and we had a fun time with our family, but ultimately the service was poor to the level of that we would not return. It is a pity because the resort itself is really private and cool.

By far the nicest staff I have encountered. My little brother has special needs and the staff was just so friendly and supportive and matched his energy. The villas were wonderful and everything was set up so nicely for us. The beds were incredibly comfortable and clean and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job of cleaning each day. I would say that it was harder to find activities for younger childern. As a young adult I found many things to do& excursions but it was much harder finding activities for my younger brother. All in all this resort was incredible and the staff was amazing.

The villa accommodations were grand, the views spectacular, the food very good and the staff was impeccable. Andre and Kiki were truly outstanding and their staff members were the highlight of our stay. We had a 3 bedroom villa with views of the ocean right past our covered lanai and private heated pool. The protected cove on the other side of the property was a recreation lovers paradise. Lounge chairs, beach bars, warm turquoise waters with suspended net floats. Catamarans , paddle boards and kayaks at your disposal all day. Everything you could want was at your convenience. The staff… and I don’t know all of their names, Karley, Sher, Roberto, Kathy, Mario…I wish I could name everyone appropriately. They were the friendliest staff I have ever encountered anywhere! If I get the chance to return I will in a heartbeat!
