We rented a four bedroom unit for three couples and four kids, ages ten months to seven. It was a great choice for our family. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was so close to the gondola. Kitchen was big enough to cook a proper meal. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were a real perk for us. Ski valet was so convenient. Tiny things: the dining table only had four chairs and one of the blinds was broken. Next time we head to Lake Tahoe, we're checking for availability here.

Had a wonderful vacation at this resort with our family. Everything was clean and all amenities of a comfortable home. Loved visiting the pool after lots of hiking and the fire pit in mornings by pool before hiking. The location is so convenient to shopping, restaurants, and activities such as the gondola and casinos. Staff was very friendly also. Would definitely return! Enjoyed sitting on deck enjoying views of the mountains too.

Not so great: - Parking is located outside. - The website mentions a ski valet, but it only exists on the website. - The website advertises a free shuttle to the California base, but this service is only mentioned online. - The snow in the pool area was not cleared, rendering the pool and hot tub unusable. This property is essentially an Airbnb, where you rent someone’s condo. Thus, your experience may vary depending on the owner. Our owner was cheap: no robes, only one cooking, one glass.

Team was attentive before we check in providing information. However after we check-in we had many issues in terms of cleanliness of the house. Bed sheets were dirty with hair, dishwasher and oven was dirty. We tried to reach out to the local office with no response. We were able get in touch with Vacasa main office via text message in the night. You could only text and nobody picked up the phon. . I have been asked to send pictures via text message. The pictures were sent. Nobody called, just an apology via text. I found new sheets in the drawers. Although, I was also not sure about how clean they were, I used them to replace the dirty ones. Somebody from cleaning called me in the morning however I was not able to take it. Called back no response. I left a text message. No response. I called the main office, I have been told to wait until they reach to local office. Waited in the line, has been asked questions again including if I have more pictures!. And also they told me to have somebody to come in check. This is not acceptable regardless of the property you are staying at. Worst experience in years. Considering the price we paid, makes it even harder to believe. After all the back and forth with main office and finally talking with local office, we have been told that we will be reimbursed for the cleaning fee!… and some additional fee for unpleasant experience we had. Total reimbursement was %16. I don’t think this even helps with the unpleasant experience we had. I hope management of this hotel/condo take this message seriously and make sure future guests have a much better experience. Also there is a pool and hot tub on the premises. However, the pool was dirty with flies and we did not feel comfortable using it. I believe this should be also easy to fix by the complex. If not, it should not be advertised as per of the deal.

We love this place! It's right in the middle of everything and we never needed a car. The resort is definitely the nicest in Tahoe, maybe of anywhere we've ever stayed! I would recommend requesting condo #228 if you stay. They each have different owner's and this one has everything added to it, such as a pellet grill for great cooking, xbox for the kids, custom board games (too many to list), puzzles, desk with computer and printer/copier, washer and dryer, 2 different kinds of coffee makers (drip and k-cup), 2 patio balconies, 3 super comfortable king size beds (1 in each bedroom), extra blankets, tv streaming service in every room, faster private wifi than the resort wifi, and probably more that we've missed!
