So close to town but not in the hustle and bustle. Meyers is a great small community in South Lake Tahoe. We have, in my opinion and fellow yelpers, the best breakfast in town. The Getaway and Downtown Cafe are about a mile away, great walk in the summer! We are about a mile from the Divided Sky, cool bar with great food. We often cycle over, have a meal and cycle home. We are super close to Desolation Wilderness and about half way between Heavenly and Sierra. But not far from Kirkwood either. We are across from the Upper Truckee River which makes for a great walk, not far from Hawley Grade and Meyers Grade. Hawley Grade - 3 Miles Echo lake - 4.3 miles Heavenly - 9.8 miles Sierra at Tahoe - 9.8 miles Kirkwood - 26 Miles Pope beach - 8 Miles Kiva Beach - 9.7 Miles State line - 12 miles IMPORTANT: Although we do our best to keep our house in clean, this is a family home. If you are looking for something in pristine condition and pressed sheets, this is NOT a home for you. With that being said, we do welcome families who will take care of our home like they with their own. I do expect you to tidy after yourself and be respectful of our home. We have loads of kitchen extras, fully stocked pantry with many spices, ninja blender, crockpot, kitchen aid mixer, baking sheets, cooking trays and much more... Our Mountain Retreat is a beautiful 2,300 square foot higher end home 5 miles from Lake Tahoe, close to Fallen Leaf Lake, Camp Richardson, Echo Summit, Tahoe Golf Course, and many restaurants and activities, without all of the busyness of town. Well furnished, open layout, with fireplace and vaulted ceilings. Fully fenced back yard. This is a wonderful home and location for spending time and building lifelong memories with family and friends. This newer 3 bedroom, 2 bath mountain home is decorated with plush furnishings and all the comforts of a mountain resort, with the feel, freedoms, and privacy of a personal home. Our snow removal operations will begin once a day after snowfall accumulation's reach 4-6 inches or greater on our route. We have no control of when the come to plow our driveway. We have shovels in the entry to clear steps and driveway if required. CAUTION: Exercise extreme caution as areas may be slippery and icy before and after snow removal operations have taken place. The County of El Dorado plows the roads outside of the city limits. Berms created after snow removal operators have cleared a driveway will be removed on their next snow clearing day. Snow removal contracts only covers the driveway and within two feet of any structure/car.
