The hotel was a bit frayed around the edges, looked like it was over due a revamp. The staff however were fantastic. They were polite, kind, thoughtful, helpful and compassionate. The customer service was excellent.

Polite staff, spacious clean room. Spotless bathroom. Very quiet Excellent value for money Nice to see that you can bring dogs! Only stayed one night, but very convenient for our visit to Oxford to see our daughter Location excellent abd a Asda night next door.

I stayed at Wheatley Travelodge because I could park there and drive a short distance to Thornhill Park & Ride in the morning for a morning appointment in Oxford. I didn't want the hassle of trying to find parking in Oxford. The Travelodge was very good value, clean, comfortable and quiet. My room was quite big and there was also a bath. It was easy to find with ample parking, and there is an Asda opposite. Thornhill Park & Ride was very good - lots of space, a warm waiting room and loos, a coffee stall and £4 to park and get the bus down to Oxford and back. It only took a few minutes to get there from Wheatley Travelodge.

Used this wonderfully quiet hotel for work in the area. Lovely view out the back onto a meadow and the river. Wonderfully clean and fresh and looked like it had just been refurbished in the bathroom. Warm and comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff. Would be improved by having a cafe for breakfast on site as there is no where to go with the place next door not opening for breakfast in the week and the asda not having a cafe.

Very close to Oxford for those planning a sightseeing trip. ASDA next door so that’s a bonus , downside it’s disruptive. / noisy with people coming and going - early morning deliveries…..

Lovely little hotel just outside Oxford centre. Plenty of parking and newly refurbished making the stay more enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Sonia, one of my favourite people and receptionists that usually checks me in in a different Travelodge. She is beyond doubt, a credit to the company when it comes to customer service. Also, Asda across the road and harvester next door for an affordable hot meal is the cherry on top of a great deal. Highly recommend.

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable and there was an animal, probably a squirrel in the facia of the roof scratting and running up and down most of the night. We did report this. WE DID NOT STAY THE SECOND EVENING that we had booked and left early. Also it is so difficult to get hold of anyone apart from at 3pm onwards when check in is being done. Would not stay there again and would think twice about staying at Travel lodge again. Also having to pay for WiFi is pitiful in this day and age.

This was very handy to stay overnight for an open day as we live over 2 hours away. Harvester and Asda on the same site was very useful too. Cheap but cheerful staff and a clean room made it an excellent choice.
