Fabulous service! Really great staff, fab atmosphere. Come on a Thursday for the quiz, it's an absolute blast. You won't regret it. There's a great selection of drinks which caters for everyone's wants. Food is also really good. Pop a long.

I have been a regular of the longship for over 30yrs and on the last occasion i was told i was barred for no apparent reason. I am shocked and disgusted with the behaviour of some of the staff and the poor managent. A number of my freinds have since boycotted the place. I have an impecable record for my behaviour and have never been so insulted in my life. Avoid the longship at all costs.

4 if us had the seniors menu, 3 courses for £4.99 the food was hot, tasty and plentiful, service was good, staff were friendly and efficient, in this day and age when it's that price for a dessert in most places, this was excellent value for money..

I put in a corner with a messy table woth loads of stains all over it sticky table chairs where wobbly when we ordered our meal and drinks we got asked for identification 2 of my mates had there’s and my parent was dropping myn off so when I got my identification I showed it to the manager of the pub then she had it for a while so I asked for it back and she said I’m not getting served for anything because I had a cheeky attitude when all I did was ask for my identification back so I got it back then we waited for our food for 1 hour and 15 mins when we finally got our food it was all cold and when we asked to get a new one as we had chicken we were denied so we asked for a refund for our meals which came to £55.50 we were denied that also, over all the staff where disrespectful and rude I wouldn’t recommend this place ever again what a way to end a good day!! I think this was because we weren’t regulars in the pub but it is out of order and I will be contacting green king to try and get a refund!!

We stayed for three nights, luckily we are very used to getting what you pay for because that's exactly what we got. The room itself was minging. The amount of dust on the wall lamp made it look like it had mould on it when turned on. I say lamp but there were two, the other one was destroyed. The carpet had big black tar like stains on it. The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower had just one setting.... scalding, so that was out. The toilet made the same noise as a jet fighter when flushed but hardly any water came out leaving half of the contents still in the bowl. The hot water tap in the sink turned on fine, but needed geoff capes to turn it off. There were two of us but only one towel. If you just want a cheap bed it's great, if you want clean and problem free, avoid.
