My husband and I stayed here as we have relatives nearby and were attending a family funeral. We found the hotel very clean and comfortable. Our room was quiet and shower was great. The Bayliss and Harding shower gel and soap smelled lovely. The breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking easy. Lots of places nearby to eat. Bar decor lovely. Price competitive. Will return.

Stayed here 2 nights , premier inn is lovely clean and the pub next door is lovely food was nice , had breakfast twice , in the restaurant the 2 people who stuck of for me was a young man called Sam d so nice and friendly with everyone and his manager called Finley both days we went in both came over to check everything was ok and a little talk , meal was great value aswell

Fantastic hotel great helpful staff very clean throughout. Food was hot very tasty and lots of choice. Very good free parking. Very comfortable clean rooms and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We have stayed in many premierers and this is one of the nicer ones

The room we were in initially was okay, however as we were in there we noticed the cobwebs/dust and once you notice one you notice all. The mirror was filthy with handprints all over it. The bathroom door lock was concerning as we thought at one point my partner was going to be stuck in there. It was a warm day so we naturally had the window open however the outside sign rattling was irritating with constant metal clanking. The tv screen had been damaged and we could see the back light along the top. The HDMI port under the Tv was damaged so we could not use at all. The plumbing needs some serious attention as well as we both had showers and both times the temperatures went scolding hot and when using the sink taps for brushing teeth the cold tap ran warm, we did then try the warm tap to see if the caps were the wrong way round however this was not the case and we just had warm/hot water. Not ideal at all.

Cleanliness is not there priority it seems.Small hairs in the bathroom dirty in places and windows full of dirty hand marks.Certainly not the cleanest.The only good part is the hotel is in a prime position for entertainment and the beech and for the retail park.Plenty of eating places and wntertainment

The hotel is well situated in the middle of everything. The hotel is spotless and the staff are excellent. Martin in Brewers Fayre was brilliant . Although it was a very busy period / Easter he still managed to give great service. The manager was even waiting on tables. Janet on reception is great . Been going for 20 years now excellent break for the family and good value.

We like Premier Inn because you know what to expect and the rooms are always comfortable and more than adequate for one or two nights. This particular hotel is in an excellent location but we found that our room on this occasion was a bit “outdated”. Still a pleasant stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly. But perhaps the rooms would benefit from a makeover.

A great stay . We were 7 of us staying in 4 rooms attending a 40th birthday celebration locally.The rooms were very spacious and clean. A special mention to a Lady in the reception “Janet” most caring and hospitable person . I forgot to bring my iPhone charger but Janet was very kind and brought a box full of used charger to look through and we found one . We arrived an hour earlier than check in for 3 pm but she was very kind to keep our luggage behind reception till we check in and we had a drink in the bar. Great hospitality.

Prime location just back from Marine Drive with the added bonus of free parking - although I’m always slightly nervous that you don’t get anything to prove you don’t have to pay. The hotel is in a mini retail/leisure park just off the seafront and an easy stroll into the town centre. Out of season the seafront is pretty desolate, not sure how much it improves in the summer. I was in room 140 with a glimpse of the sea from my window - quite a walk along the corridors from reception. Decent room but I wasn’t keen on glasses instead of cups with the tea/coffee making facilities. Good strong shower. I enjoyed the full english breakfast @ £10.99 with great sausages and fried eggs that were frequently replaces. The continental breakfast looked sparse with no cold meats or cheeses.
