"This was my second stay at a Wanda property. Because hotel prices were much higher than usual at Wanda during Chinese New Year, I opted for the Sheraton instead, even though two nights still cost nearly 7,000 RMB. But to my surprise, I was disappointed in every aspect… Firstly, on February 16th, as soon as I entered the lobby, I saw guests arguing with hotel staff. I wasn't sure about the specific reason, but I already had a bad feeling. Secondly, February 16th was Chinese New Year's Eve. My family of three was watching the Spring Festival Gala in the room, and when we tried to pull down the shower curtain, it was broken. After reporting it, we found that even when the curtain was down, it was still see-through… I nearly fainted! This might be okay for couples, but if you're traveling with friends or family with kids, wouldn't that be incredibly awkward? Then, when we were ready to sleep that night, we discovered an issue with the toilet – there was a constant dripping sound, which was driving me crazy. It was Chinese New Year and the middle of the night, so I decided to deal with it the next day. I communicated with the hotel concierge in the morning but never heard back about a resolution. After breakfast, I had to speak to the front desk myself to get a room change… It was a huge hassle, moving from one end of the hotel to the other (a very long walk, dragging suitcases for 10 minutes, and taking two different elevators). The most ridiculous part was that this concierge, after we checked in, enthusiastically recommended various paid activities to us, and we even booked some through him… Ha! During Chinese New Year, I didn't want to ruin our trip or make things difficult for the staff who were still working. So, I tried to keep my negative emotions to myself. However, an old, established hotel, even if it's been open for a long time, isn't excused from all problems. Proper equipment maintenance and staff quality training are just basic operational necessities, aren't they? If they only think about making money from customers' pockets without any sincerity, how far can they really go?"

"This guesthouse really exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Wanda International Resort, with no detours needed. The decor is cozy with traditional heated 'kang' beds, which I'd never experienced before – so comfortable and warm. The natural light is amazing; you can see the Qinglong ski slope from the ski resort right from your window. The room was decorated so warmly, I immediately felt a great sense of hospitality. This guesthouse has everything you need, with a supermarket and restaurant on-site. The owner even built their own small ski slope, which we all had a blast on! The owner is incredibly nice, responds to messages super fast, and provided clear directions and check-in instructions before our arrival. When we checked out, they even thoughtfully asked if we needed any help. Next time I visit this city, I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again! I honestly recommend it to everyone."

"Stayed for three nights, and the room was fantastic. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent—definitely recommend getting the breakfast package, it’s a smooth start to the day! The hotel is right at the base of the ski slopes, so you can ski-in/ski-out. From your room at night, you can see the snow groomers and the beautiful night view of the ski resort. Plus, you can soak in the hot springs while watching others ski. If you're coming to Changbaishan for a ski vacation, I highly recommend the Hyatt."

"The room was very clean and tidy, and the underfloor heating made it super warm and cozy! The entire guesthouse was beautifully designed, with every corner being a great spot for photos. The breakfast was also delicious with a wide variety of dishes, many of which were特色东北菜 (specialty Northeastern dishes). There were also many cute and friendly cats around, very affectionate, haha! The owner was incredibly nice, and we truly felt the hospitality of the Northeastern people. It happened to be the first day of the New Year when we stayed, and they even set off fireworks for us in the evening!"

"During my stay, I was fortunate to experience the excellent service of concierge Xiao Chen. From the moment I arrived, he helped with my luggage and guided me through check-in. He patiently answered my daily inquiries and meticulously planned my travel routes. His professionalism and thoughtfulness were evident in every detail. Xiao Chen was warm, humble, and incredibly efficient in responding to requests. He consistently anticipated guest needs and provided thoughtful solutions, making my trip feel so much warmer and more comfortable with his attentive service. He truly deserves high praise!"

"Park Hyatt is the best hotel in Changbaishan town, with the most prime location and views. It has a private ski-in/ski-out access right outside, leading directly to the gondola station, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious and very quiet, though the temperature was a bit low. The swimming pool and hot springs are excellent, with comfortable water temperatures, making for a great experience. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, the quality is good. It's definitely the top choice for skiing at Wanda."

"This is my second stay at Club Med Changbaishan this year, and it was another super pleasant experience! I'm so glad I chose Club Med Changbaishan as my 'opening board' destination for the 2025 ski season. During my six-day, five-night trip, the biggest impression was how the entire GO team went above and beyond to ensure I ate well, drank well, and had a great time. Last year, when I first came, GO Cathy, who was new to her job, checked me in. Even then, despite her shyness, I could feel her immense enthusiasm. Coincidentally, Cathy checked me in again this year. After a year, I could really see her growth; in addition to her continued enthusiasm, there was a newfound composure. Every time I saw her, she was smiling, proactive, and patient, making me feel incredibly warm and at home as soon as I walked in. Since I was with friends this time, Cathy thoughtfully arranged two adjacent rooms on the same floor for us. We started skiing on our second day and rented our ski equipment a day in advance. The hotel has an exclusive ski hall with lockers corresponding to room numbers, and you can ski in and out, which is very convenient. I successfully advanced to Level 2 after four days of lessons, thanks to my ski instructors. I especially want to thank Ann, the head of the ski school. On the second afternoon of skiing, due to over-excitement, I dropped my phone on the slope. From realizing my phone was lost to Ann helping me find it, it took less than half an hour. Thank you for helping me contact and search for it so quickly. I'm truly grateful to her ❤️. During our five-day stay, the biggest surprise was the hotel's catering team. I originally thought I'd get tired of the food after two or three days and go down the mountain to other restaurants. But to my surprise, for all five days, the main courses in several major categories were different every single day! We got to try all the representative Northeastern dishes in five days, which was truly thoughtful. My biggest lament is that after leaving Club Med, perhaps no one else will care as much about whether I'm eating well. Another delightful surprise was that the decorative chocolate used in the hotel's chocolate desserts was Valrhona, known as the 'Hermes' of commercial chocolate brands! Finally, I really want to thank the GO team from the sports and entertainment department. Every day, they came up with different and exciting ways to entertain everyone. The activities were lively and fun; I just couldn't bear to go to bed early at night! There's a high probability we'll choose Club Med Changbaishan again next ski season.
