In the evening, you could even choose your preferred pillow and have a staff member deliver it to your room."

"Choosing the right hotel in Harbin can save you a lot of hassle, and this Qiuguo Hotel truly impressed me with its unbeatable location. After staying here, I genuinely feel I made the right choice and highly recommend it to fellow travelers. The hotel is situated in the heart of Daoli district, just a few minutes' walk from Central Street. It's incredibly convenient for strolling the pedestrian street, admiring European-style architecture, and sampling various local snacks. After a day of sightseeing and enjoying Central Street's night views, you don't need a long taxi ride; you can simply take a leisurely stroll back to the hotel to rest, saving yourself the fatigue of commuting. Saint Sophia Cathedral is also very close to the hotel, within walking distance, so you can head out early for photos. Getting to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and the Songhua River banks is also very convenient, with plenty of bus stops nearby making travel to various attractions smooth. It's also near a subway station, making public transport for other scenic spots or for getting to and from the train station time-saving and effortless. The area around the hotel is very well-developed, with convenience stores, restaurants, and various shops readily available. You don't have to go far for meals or daily necessities. Despite being in a bustling commercial district, the hotel offers a quiet retreat; with the windows closed, the room is very peaceful and won't be disturbed by street noise, allowing for a good night's rest. Besides its outstanding location, the overall hotel experience is excellent. The rooms are clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly, check-in and check-out are efficient, and they patiently answer any questions. For such a prime location on Central Street, the value for money is exceptional. For travelers to Harbin who prioritize convenient access, this hotel is definitely worth staying at."

"The location is fantastic, right by Central Avenue, a very bustling and lively area with plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The hotel is relatively new, but the room door lock was faulty and wouldn't close properly. However, it was fixed immediately after we reported it. The breakfast was quite rich, and for those checking out early, the front desk would prepare packed breakfasts in advance – the service was top-notch. Overall, it was a great stay and I highly recommend it! One thing to note is that the handrail in the elevator seems to be positioned awkwardly. At the corners, it's easy to bump into people, especially hitting your waist if you're not careful. This could definitely be improved."

"The room size was just right, and the hotel is close to the city center. It was clean, and the service was absolutely on point, warm and thoughtful. They met every request we made. Breakfast was good, a mix of Chinese and Western. The afternoon tea, coffee, and pastries were all delicious. The only downside is the lack of a dedicated parking lot; we had to park under the elevated bridge in front, which cost over twenty yuan per day! The price this time was very, very good. Looking forward to staying again in winter!"

"This retro-style hotel, though not large, is very distinctive. It's decorated like a small palace, and the century-old elevator, in particular, has so much historical charm. The room decor also has a Russian aristocratic feel! However, personally, I found the bed too high and the pillows too soft, but everything else was great. The hotel breakfast was excellent 👍. There wasn't an overwhelming selection, but all the essentials were there, with a Western focus. The ingredients were clearly of high quality, noticeably better than other hotels, and the coffee was delicious and aromatic! The hotel staff were very warm and attentive, even giving us a free room upgrade, which was much appreciated! They answered all our questions thoroughly and enthusiastically. It felt very welcoming! Plus, the hotel is right in the middle of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and taking walks! I will definitely come back!"

"Before booking, I called the front desk and asked if the executive room included executive lounge access. The front desk confirmed that it did. However, upon check-in, we were told the executive lounge was closed and we would have to eat at the cafe on the first floor. We were served only four small dishes: red sausage, seasonal vegetables, sliced beef with pickled cabbage, and fried noodles. When we asked about drinks, they said there weren't any. We pointed out that executive lounges usually offer alcoholic beverages. The staff then offered us two beers. We questioned why there was only beer, as lounges typically have red wine and spirits. The staff then offered to pour us red wine and white wine, so we opted for a glass of red. This experience felt very poor. If they had simply told us it was a set meal when we called, we wouldn't have booked an executive room in the first place."

Their breakfast buffet is reliably good, offering a mix of Western and Chinese options, including freshly ground coffee, Western pastries, as well as local specialties like Harbin red sausage and various congees. Ingredients are fresh, and dishes are replenished promptly. The dining area is kept at a comfortable temperature with air conditioning, making for a clean and pleasant dining experience. All staff members are highly professional. The front desk patiently helped us plan our sightseeing routes, and the lobby staff were polite and friendly. All our requests were handled promptly, and their service was just right – enthusiastic without being overly formal, and very attentive. I would definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Harbin. Five stars, highly recommended!"
