"My overall stay exceeded expectations; I'm very satisfied. Both the hotel's facilities and service deserve a full five-star rating. The room itself was clean and bright, with well-maintained furniture and appliances. The air conditioning provided stable cooling, which was great. The bathroom facilities were in perfect working order, with ample water pressure and instant hot water. The bedding was fluffy and soft, leading to excellent rest quality, and the room offered plenty of storage space with all necessary amenities provided. The hotel's public areas were tidy and elegant, well-maintained, and public facilities were neatly arranged, making for a comfortable experience upon entry and exit.
The front desk staff were warm and friendly – very pleasing. Check-in was swift and efficient, and they provided detailed and thorough answers to my inquiries, quickly responding to any needs I raised. Room service was meticulous and professional; the room was thoroughly cleaned, consumables were replenished promptly, and the service was discreet and non-intrusive.
From the maintenance of the hardware facilities to the service provided by the frontline staff, you can truly feel the hotel's high standard of management. My entire stay was reassuring and pleasant. It's suitable for both business travel and short leisure trips, offering outstanding value for money. I will prioritize staying here again when I'm in the area and would gladly recommend it to friends who are traveling. I really liked it."

"Absolutely loved my stay here. The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and everything feels incredibly clean and well maintained. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were next level from the moment I arrived. I was kindly given a complimentary room upgrade as well as access to the lounge, which made the stay even more special.
The dining was also excellent. I tried both the Italian and Chinese restaurants and both were genuinely top notch, with great food, presentation, and service.
Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Xiamen. Would absolutely stay again."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wanda Plaza. Alan and the duty manager at the front desk were very nice, polite, and professional, deserving a five-star rating! We stayed on the executive floor, and the daily Happy Hour menu was always different, offering hot dishes, salads, soup of the day, fruits, and various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It was very abundant and tasted great. Breakfast was also very extensive, featuring local delicacies like satay noodles and southern Fujian five-spice rolls, which were delicious. The staff in the restaurant, guest rooms, recreational facilities, and executive lounge were all wonderful, greeting us every time we saw them. Every day when we returned to the lobby, the lobby manager would politely greet us, making us feel right at home. We were very satisfied with our trip to Xiamen."

"Highly recommended for all Malaysians! This hotel is directly accessible from the subway exit, perfect for 'special forces' travelers like us who are constantly on the go, haha. It saves us from having to hail a taxi after a long day of exploring. Plus, they can receive packages for you! The hotel's breakfast buffet is also fantastic, with a wide variety of dishes, including some hearty mains (I saw double-cooked pork, shredded potatoes, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, etc.). My favorite was the soy milk, haha – it was even better than eating out. Finally, I have to mention the service. The staff were always smiling and welcoming. They even upgraded us to a king-size bed for free. One evening, I came back exhausted, and a staff member greeted me with 'Welcome back,' making me feel right at home. I stayed for 4 days and honestly felt a little sad to leave 🥹 Wishing you all the best in your business, thank you! 💛"

10 min. walk to the Gulangyu Island ferry, the historically popular Zhongshan Road and the No. 8 fresh market where seafood can be enjoyed throughout the day in the different restaurants.
Free parking during stay is available and the final terminal station of No. 1 Metro station is just 5 min. walk from the hotel.

"First, four points that deserve high praise:
1. **Excellent Service:** Staff were always on hand at the hotel lobby entrance to help with car doors and luggage when getting in or out.
2. **Spacious Design:** The hotel lobby has a grand, high-ceiling design, and the rooms are sufficiently spacious.
3. **Well-Equipped Gym:** The gym is large and has a wide variety of equipment.
4. **Varied Breakfast:** The breakfast selection is extensive.
And three points that need improvement:
1. **Unpleasant Odor:** The hallway on the 16th floor, as well as my room, had a strange smell like a laundry room and drainage pipes. The indoor ventilation was poor.
2. **Insufficient Delivery Robots:** There weren't enough delivery robots, so most food deliveries had to be left in a locker in the hotel parking lot, requiring guests to go down and pick them up themselves.
3. **Limited Power Outlets:** The double room only had one power outlet by the bed, which isn't very convenient for guests staying in this room type."

Every staff member greeted us with a smile, and they were especially patient and kind with our child. "The hotel's children's room was decorated with so many cute dolls. From the doorman to the front desk, the service was incredibly warm and thoughtful. From the moment we stepped out of the car, we could feel their dedication. Our stay coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, and they had a wide variety of activities to choose from. Going out to the sea to catch seafood was a unique experience, and we even got to see a long-awaited sunrise – our happiness level for the trip instantly went through the roof! The hotel also offered a hairpin flower photoshoot. The photographer was very professional, and they really brought out the best in the kids, resulting in many beautiful photos. We also had a dedicated shuttle service to the stadium for a concert. The driver was excellent; even though there was a bit of a wait, he never rushed us, for which I'm very grateful 🙏. This Mid-Autumn Festival was truly special, and Shangri-La deserves half the credit."

Anonymous UserThe hotel service was excellent, always responsive to our needs and going above and beyond to satisfy guests. No matter the time, they were always quick to assist. The service even started before we arrived on the island; hotel staff contacted us days in advance to confirm our needs during our stay, reminded us about the ferry tickets required for the island, and even helped us book them. After adding the concierge on WeChat, they sent us information about hotel and island activities, and could assist with advance bookings and ticket reservations. Upon arrival, the concierge met us at the pier and helped with our luggage. Any questions we had during our stay were answered instantly via WeChat. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir and helped transport our luggage back to the pier. Considering we had a lot of luggage, a staff member specifically accompanied us on the ferry, helping with our bags the entire way. The whole stay felt very warm and reassuring; it’s a hotel full of human touch. The hotel environment is very quiet, with an ecological park next to it. Walking through the park leads to the beach, and the coastline is beautiful and great for walks. A truly excellent stay!

Guest UserOur stay at Crown was average at best, which was a letdown given our expectations.
The biggest issue was the room. We specifically booked an ocean view, but what we got was mostly a city view with just a tiny sliver of the ocean in the distance. That was really disappointing and not what we paid for.
On the positive side, the housekeeping staff was wonderful—attentive, kind, and took great care of us throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the rest of the staff didn't leave the same impression. Overall, we found the general service to be not friendly, but not unfriendly, which was surprising for a first-time visit. I don’t know. I prefer whenever I go to hotel to see people friendly when you walk in especially after a long trip. Especially whenever you pay somewhat of a premium price for the hotel
All in all, it wasn't a terrible stay, but it didn't live up to what we hoped for.

Guest UserWe booked a family room, which had an extra small bed combined with the main one, perfect for us traveling with two young children. The theme was Xiamen Airlines, though it was a bit disappointing that the headboard didn't have the airplane pattern shown when I booked online. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including an infinity pool. Although there isn't a separate children's pool, the water isn't deep, so our kids still had a great time! The breakfast we booked also offered a good variety and the food was tasty. The hotel even sells Xiamen Airlines merchandise, and guests get a discount, which is a nice touch. The only minor drawback for me was the parking lot; our 7-seater car is quite large, and there were barely any spots big enough! Aside from that, this hotel truly exceeded our expectations!

tueoxxI specifically stayed here to try out the gym, and the equipment was comprehensive and easy to use. The bed mattress in the room was very comfortable, allowing me to rest well after a busy day. Even during peak check-in times, the front desk was well-organized. The breakfast buffet was constantly replenished, and the food was generally palatable. Overall, this is a hotel I would definitely book again.

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Guest UserThe location is great, with bus and subway stations nearby. It's also not far from the SM business district, just a 10-minute walk. The airport is a short drive away, and they even offer free airport pickup, which makes getting around so much easier!
The service is what you'd expect from an established five-star hotel. The front desk staff are polite and professional, and they respond quickly to any requests. Their attention to detail is very heartwarming.
The hotel lobby is grand and tastefully decorated, and the guest rooms are clean and well-soundproofed. The pool and gym facilities are comprehensive, and there's a buffet on the first floor. Highly recommended!

YadianyangyaoI brought my family to Xiamen this time and chose the Wyndham Yu Zhou, and overall we were quite satisfied with our stay. Our butler, Evelyn, was very thoughtful. A particularly memorable detail was the aromatherapy experience upon check-in. I initially thought it was just a small touch, but the subtle fragrance immediately made us feel like our 'vacation had begun.' It definitely added a special sense of ritual compared to the standard check-in process at other hotels 🌿.
If you're traveling with kids, the hotel's family fun zone is truly commendable! It's quite spacious, and the children got completely absorbed in playing, allowing the adults to finally relax a bit. For family trips, I think having a dedicated play area for kids at the hotel is crucial; otherwise, you're constantly rushing between attractions or entertaining the kids, which can be exhausting.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is also very comfortable, without feeling particularly noisy. Breakfast was my favorite type – a rich selection and delicious too. It was great not having to rush out to find food in the morning; we could enjoy a leisurely meal before heading out. The staff overall provided attentive service, and communication was smooth whenever we needed anything.
The biggest feeling I got from this stay was 'peace of mind.' We didn't have to pack our itinerary too tightly; we could find our own relaxing time right at the hotel. If you're bringing family to Xiamen, I think this is indeed a great choice ~ ☺️

Guest UserFull marks! The front desk service was incredibly attentive, and they even upgraded my room to one with floor-to-ceiling windows in advance. The environment is romantic and elegant, with lots of greenery and fresh air. The facilities are very well-designed, and the bathtub is large and comfortable for a soak. The hygiene is absolutely top-notch. Staying here really helped me relax both my body and mind. I was in a hurry this time and didn't get to experience the outdoor hot springs, but I'll definitely be back for another vacation!

Guest UserOut of my two-week trip, the Renaissance Xiamen Hotel was what I was looking forward to the most 🏨, but reality hit us hard. This was, surprisingly, the most disappointing stay of the entire journey. 👇
💢 **Noise Nightmare**
Late at night, guests upstairs were still jumping around 💃, and then in the early hours, I was woken up by the chattering of the aunties next door 🗣️. I spent the entire night in torment 😫. After complaining, the front desk actually blamed the parents?! ”We can't control children jumping around.” This response definitely deserves a bad review 🙅♀️.
💢 **Service Fails**
I asked for two bowls when checking in 🥣, but even this simple request was messed up ❌. What's worse: I asked for them around 10 PM when I checked in, and they didn't arrive until almost midnight 🕛. The efficiency was simply abysmal.
💢 **Chaotic Environment**
The hotel entrance was crowded with vendors' stalls 💥. Is this really a five-star hotel? 🤔
✨ **Only Positives**
The bedding was indeed comfortable 🛏️, and the breakfast selection was quite rich 🥐. The decor was truly distinctive (too bad I had no mood for photos 📸).
**Summary:**
Came with high expectations, left utterly disappointed 😔. Suggest avoiding this one! ‼️
