"I booked this hotel for my husband who was on a business trip and decided to come along as it gave me a chance to visit Dublin. Am so glad I did. I had a polished, gracious welcome, a lovely room (thankfully facing away from the main streets) which was quiet, stylish but most of all, very comfortable. I enjoyed the vibe in the lobby, it’s well used by guests as well as locals and the breakfast was generous and extensive. It’s always great when a hotel will continue to look after you after check out and my bags were taken care of and transport advice offered. Perfect stay!"

"The Bonnington is usually my go to hotel in dublin, however the stay before this and now this stay has made me look for somewhere else in future. The staff as always were exceptional, however our room was incorrectly rang my reception at 5am, (and on a previous stay we were awoken in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm, so a full nights sleep is not a guarantee). What was the most frustrating is the general disrepair of the hotel. The rooms are fairly small so for the higher price point you are really paying for the facilities. The smaller issues like furniture being old and leather chairs peeling and flaking were not a big problem, just a mild annoyance. However the bath/shower leaking everywhere when used from the base of the tub and leaving the floor soaking wet, the steam room being out of order and us not being informed of this when or even after booking, and the crowdedness and of the pool and other facilities because of non hotel users with memberships to the leisure clubs taking up the whole hot tub and sauna at once in personal groups was frustrating. The room was also extremely hot, and the AC very very loud while not actually doing much to cool the room. There was nothing particularly stay ruining about it however if you’re paying over 200 euro for one night somewhere you would expect things to be at least average. The main redemption was the friendliness and kindness of the staff."

"Knowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside. As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea! The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall. Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality. The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors. It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas. We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with. "The hotel's breakfast is very rich, a combination of buffet and a la carte. There are local Irish breakfasts including black and white pudding, eggs Benny's, sirloin steak, smoked salmon, etc. The portions are sufficient and there are many kinds of fruits. The local apricots, peaches and cherries all taste very good."

"Conveniently located, less than 5 minutes walk to St. Patrick's Cathedral, walking distance to downtown shopping streets and restaurants. The supermarket is right next to it. The room is relatively large and clean. The breakfast buffet has many varieties and is delicious. I will stay here again when I go to Dublin next time."

"It's still okay to stay here, but the front desk is not very friendly. I checked out and paid for parking, but they didn't register it. I couldn't get out of the parking lot and had to run again."

"There is no commercial facilities around the hotel, but there is a golf course nearby. There is a park about 500 meters away. The environment is beautiful, comfortable, pleasant and very quiet. The hotel breakfast is very rich and the coffee tastes good. The gym is well-equipped and the swimming pool is clean. The room is clean and tidy, with bottled water. The front desk service attitude is good, and the restaurant service is warm, thoughtful and meticulous. I will definitely stay here next time."
