Spoleto Hotels with Bars

The tree is located in a very central area before entering the oldest area. The hotel has a parking area of about 200 metres and is a price of €5 per day, exclusive for guests. I think that the availability should be asked first. The rooms are large, clean and TV-friendly, and the bathrooms are new, in excellent condition, with a shampoo and a bathroom. Of course there are also towels. Breakfast is exceptional, international, with sweet and salty. We were really happy about everything. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures inside the rooms.

Weekend of November, first time in Spoleto and stay in this place loaded by history, nature and charm! The hotel is simply wonderful, the view from the large windows is stunning at any time of the day, but the atmosphere of the hotel completes the framework. The hotel is located in the city's most suggestive location, and is very friendly and comfortable. Breakfast is served by two floors down to the reception, each corner of the hotel is well-treated and the breakfast room is set on a garden from which you can continue to admire the landscape. Breakfast is normal, not excellent, but it offers everything, sweet and salty, certainly you don't get up with hunger. It is a wonderful weekend in Spoleto, but certainly the added value is given by the Gattapone hotel!

We did not stay at this hotel, however, my friend and I were exhausted and asked to sit down in the outside area, checking at reception if we could order a drink. The two women at reception were less than friendly nor helpful. They spoke to my friend in Italian and said that usually only guests were permitted to sit outside and order a drink, but given that the hotel was without customers we were allowed to sit there and they would take our order. We waited outside for some time whilst they continued their conversation. I went in to ask for a drinks list. I was told quite rudely that they didn’t have one-they only had Prosecco and wine. Beside ghe reception desk, there was a bar which had on display many different spirits and drinks, however, the women on duty weren’t prepared to offer them to us. I asked if we could have a gin and tonic and they finally agreed to this. I then went and sat back at our table. We waited again whilst they continued their conversation and ignored our requests.
