Where do I start? This place is amazing and it’s now my second time back. I normally never go back to the same place twice but this place is THAT incredible. The staff is more like a 5 STAR hotel and the rooms are clean with a completely redone bathroom that I wish I could replicate in my own home. I’ve haven’t had as refreshing of a sleep as I did there. Floating the river on the property, early morning yoga with the jungle noises, excursions to the ATM caves they set up were all a core memory. The food was all organic and rivaled the best restaurants we have in Dallas. You will not regret booking this place! It is magical and so good for my soul every time I go!

We had such a wonderful time at Jade Jungle Resort! The property is stunning, the staff is friendly, and the meals were amazing. During our visit, we stayed at a Boardwalk Cabana. It was so fun being elevated above the jungle floor. We also went birding, hiking, did yoga on property, took a cooking class, and of course went on adventures off the property too. We can't wait to go back!

It was an incredible and unique experience. I really enjoyed the thoughtfulness put into each aspect of Jade Jungle Resort, from the amazing food, kind and attentive hosts, guides, and staff to the activities and the grounds itself. They went above and beyond to make sure our group experienced Belize at its best. We got to learn about the culture from locals and see such cool places. I slept great and loved the peaceful environment they’ve created. Highly recommend!

Spent a week by myself at this most amazing jungle eco-lodge in the Cayo District. Located adjacent to the Tapir Mountain Nature Preserve, this place provides the perfect balance between seclusion in the jungle and easy accessibility to many Cayo District adventures; luxury accomodations with a hand-crafted casual appeal. The birding is phenomenal (Mario helped me find 135 spp. in 5 days). On site nature trails, Mayan ruins, rivers and streams, it is magical. I was fortunate to be able to spend time with the super friendly and helpful staff, who treated me like royalty. And the new owners, Lance and Crissy, and their troop of adventurous kids are kind and ambitious hosts. I'll be back, and highly recommend this place!

Come to Jade if you want to: (1) glimpse of a different way of life defined by the natural rhythms of the jungle, (2) eat impossibly delicious and healthy food, (3) learn about the ancient Maya that inhabited the area, and (4) disconnect from the freneticism of the word. Jade doesn't offer you the fake "relaxation" of a cruise line, where enjoyment is defined by limitless consumption. Rather, Jade offers you freedom. Your phone won't work on most of the property (there's a little WiFi in the main lodge so you aren't totally cut off), and they don't have air conditioning. The absence of these things is an invitation. Listen to your own thoughts, talk deeply with your friends and family, worry less about time, and feel your environment. If you do chose to come, you will not leave the same.

Our experience fell short. The owners were hosting and participating in a retreat that included couples and their children. The resort is relatively small and either the group or their children monopolized the common areas. Meals were a struggle with a kids table behind the adults and next to us. The kids were pretty much left unsupervised to be handled by staff. A staff member saved the day when a child tipped over a kerosene lamp. The adults had either multiple conversations going on at their table or a large group conversation at dinner that dominated the small space and they were completely oblivious to the other guests around them. Went to relax in the common area and found all the seats reserved by the retreat folks who left all their notes, phones, etc on the table and chairs. When it wasn't occupied by the group and seating was available it was a common place for the kids to hang out in the hammocks while the adults were doing their thing someplace else. Lost an evening of enjoying the tranquility of the jungle while the group did a sing along around the fireplace. Comments about the incredible staff are spot on. They are amazing folks. They sensed our frustration and did what they could and it did get better on the third day when some of the retreat folks left and adjusted meal hours for the group. I know other non-retreat guests shared our frustrations. The staff told us they are trying to get more groups to visit. I would recommend you find out if they are hosting some other event as well and avoid those dates if possible. The facility is not conducive to hosting retreats and still being enjoyable for non-participants.

I’ve been to Jade Jungle Resort twice now and loved it so much. The food, resort, staff are all amazing. My favorite part was disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with myself and nature. There is something so calming about this beautiful place where nature, animals, history are so abundant. Loved hearing about the onsite Mayan ruins from the hosts. This is a truly magical place.

Deep in the rainforest recently purchased and redone (was Pooks Hill). Amazing family who are transforming this place into a true jungle paradise. Accommodations so authentic and peaceful. Using the land for the restaurant, 300 acres of serenity!!

My sister and I came here for a Tuesday-Saturday trip and we're already excited when we had everything planned, but were blown away how incredible the location was, with the eco-friendly resort amenities and set ups, and importantly the staff/guides and the tours we went on. We did the ATM Cave with Dennis, went Cave Tubing and Ziplining with Mike, and Felix took us to the Zoo and Xunantunich and canoeing on the river. They answered a crazy amounts of questions from us about the flora and fauna (their bird and animal spotting skills are insane) as well as cultural questions about the country. The four course dinners every night were a treat; we had plenty of options for breakfast and lunch and snacks, and never went hungry. 10/10 truly incredible.
