Fantastic overnights stay at the La Place as ever! Never disappoints! Rooms are comfortable, clean and cosy! Welcome drink on arrival to set the scene in the right way! Lovely dinner made all the better by our server Sanaa! And a glorious breakfast to finish off our stay! Highly recommended! :)

4th visit to this amazing place we now call our 2nd home. I use Tripadvisor a lot to research places to stay when we travel and I don’t think I have ever come across a property with such positive, lovely reviews. Almost 100% give top scores - and I couldn’t agree more. We always book a self catering cottage and for the last few years we have stayed in Ivy cottage but this year we were across in Beech. The layout of the cottage was identical so we still felt like it was our ‘usual’ one. All the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and as usual, the lovely guys behind the bar remembered us and we had lots of laughs and fun. My daughters love the pool - always warm and clean. The reception smelled delicious and I have bought the diffuser they have to recreate the smell at home. Can’t wait till be back next year..

We have just returned from a brilliant staycation at La Place. We were made to feel welcome the minute that we stepped through the door. All the staff, especially Patrick in the restaurant, were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was just amazing , we couldn’t fault a thing. Our room was tastefully furnished with everything that you would expect to have in first class hotel. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

An idyllic country hotel in the heart of St Peter with stunning sunsets and fabulous exquisite menus all year round The staff are really on board to meet all your dietary requirements , a truly hospitable crew who are welcoming and have your full attention. The hotel pool is beautiful with sun loungers and attentive service plus warm throughout the summer months and I am excited for my family to stay here in April. A true relaxing experience.

Delightful, charming hotel. Reception; the restaurant and bars were lovely. Breakfast was a delight, with utterly faultless service and excellent food. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The staff were excellent - always responsive to our needs.

We have just had another wonderful overnight staycation at La Place. It maintains it's consistence hence our regular returns. Generous room and en suite size without up- grading, fabulous food and lovely, relaxing lounges. However special mention for the staff who, over the years, have always made our stays particularly memorable. On this occasion our special mentions go to Farida and Marcus on service, Victoria and Christine on reception and the bar staff. Their commitment to efficient but always friendly service, a ready smile and helpfulness is a credit to the hotel. Thank you all. We will be back

Exceptional experience today at Sunday lunch. We have not been to La Place that often but the food was top quality and the service was impeccable…..thanks to Marcus and everyone behind the scenes. This is a little gem and only fair to share it. We will be back! Simon
