The room was very clean and with all the amenities needed. The breakfast was very good, especially on the second morning because I went earlier, so there was more variety. The owner was present in different departments and always had a smile on his face and was ready to greet the guests. Vino, was helpful and very friendly and Ana from reception is a must in the team, what a lovely receptionist, always ready to help. From the breakfast I have to mention Thomas and the sweet Sushmita. After checking out the room, I left my bag, and Ana also let me keep my things in the freezer. The only things that can be improved, is making sure that the right information is passed, because when I checked in, I was informed by the reception manager that they would pre-authorize 100€ in case of room damaging. That is totally fine, but I told her that I would need the docket from the machine on check out, with the pre aut reversed and she said that it's not possible and that the money would be in my account in 1 day, even though I told her that I have a debit card so that is not possible. Later I was informed by other receptionist that the pre auth can take until 21 days to be released in the card... Thank you for everything guys, keep up with the good work!

Hotel with modern ambience & sweet spirit, friendly stuff who provided us with super useful tips , lovely breakfast and great location is a perfect starting point  for exploring the Island and perfect spot for nightlife lovers.

Idea plave to stay in middle of the city with great care and closed to the beach/valletta cruise port. Rooms were not so big but big enough to stay comfortably with basic amenities. Staff was super friendly and supportive. All credit goes to them. Proper hygienic conditions well maintained. Breakfast was so delicious. Stay was really worth.

I can concur with the previous review about the bathroom being dangerous with the bathtub lacking in handles to grab onto when climbing in and out. This is not trivial as the bathtub is deeper than most and as a tall person even I struggled to get in and out – it’s fair to say there is a high risk of slipping. Also bizarrely there is no shower curtain resulting in a lot of water falling onto the floor. Whilst the floor has a drain hole the bathroom floor is level so very little drains until you push the water with your feet towards the drain after finishing your shower and mop up what’s left with a towel. Breakfast was of exceedingly average choice and quality with the eggs very overcooked – perhaps that is the Maltese way – but I did enjoy the coffee. On a more positive note the bed was rather comfortable and the hotel is ideally located on the border between Sliema and the entertainment district of Paceville. Numerous bus routes stop at the nearby Ross bus stop and the direct bus TD2 goes to and from the airport. Finally it was my first trip to Malta and I loved it to bits!

The card of the room was not working. On the first day we couldn’t lock the door and there was no other safe place to put our stuff! When we complaint, they said that the country is safe so we shouldn’t worry about leaving the room open with our bags inside! Then they fixed the card on the next dat and once we left the hotel and we couldn’t get back in our room. We have been waiting at the reception until 2am in the morning and they couldn’t fix the door or find us another room!! Poor service, no alternative solutions and nothing was offered for the inconvenience. Do NOT recommend this place
