This hotel is designed like a pretty Cretan village with blocks of buildings based around the central pool, bars and restaurant. Rooms were adequate. I was disappointed that there is now only one a la carte restaurant as three were listed when I made the booking. Buffets were varied but show cooking was done and then transferred to hot plates - not my usual experience. Also many cocktails were not included in the all inclusive deal. Overall I would rate this as 4 star as there were also no sea views so location is not perfect. Staff were very helpful and friendly but beware this seems to be a mainly German hotel and at one point I was the only English person staying there which for a solo traveller makes this hotel very unsociable.

The Spa area was great. Thanks to Antonis for the intensive massage. The gym have good equipment and everybody finds something to eat at the resteraunt. Healty lifestyle or not. The rooms are clean und you have a good visit to the montain, pool or garden.

A very nice couples massage experience. Me and my wife had upper body massage in cactus hotel spa center and it was quite good. Also wife is happy now :)) this was definitely pretty much the best experience Anja and Dimitris were amazing, thank you very much :)

I had a Cretan Massage with the masseuse called Anja. The general impression of the Spa was very positive! The staff was very friendly and forthcoming 👍🏻 The spa and the massage room was very clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Anja gave me a very good massage that let me relax to the fullest with soft and calm music playing in the background. I can only recommend a visit to this Spa and with Anja you will literally be in good hands 🙌🏻 The massage table could be replaced soon as it made strange noises when I had to turn onto my back for instance. No biggie though … just a tip to improve the massage experience in the future 😊

Anja did my service for me and it was extremely relaxing, I went in feeling stressed and anxious and came out feeling completely relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend a thousand times to anyone looking for some time to treat themselves!

My husband and I spent a week at Cactus Royal in October. I honestly can not find any fault. We arrived very late and were greeted checked in and a gentleman took us and our cases to our room and showed us how the aircon etc worked. Food throughout the stay was fantastic, plenty to choose and always fresh and hot. Room excellent and perfectly clean, cleaned regularly and tea and coffee replenished daily. Pools lovely plenty of room and sun beds always available and clean (perhaps a little cold). Rooms quiet and never disturbed. A la carte meals (we were given vouchers and booked all free for free) was absolutely amazing food was delicious. We had the best week and highly recommend

Had a great pedicure from Anja today. Will be showing off my feet for the rest of my vacation.;) A little foot massage would have made the experience even more lovely, but Anja really was such a friendly, professional and kind nail technician that I can only leave five stars. :)

Spa service and reception very welcoming, Anja Was amazing! Hotel staff very helpful. The facilities are kept really clean. A good choice of food in the restaurant. My daughter enjoys the gym. She loves how big it is and there is loads of machines.
