Cactus Royal Spa & Resort

My husband and I spent a week at Cactus Royal in October. I honestly can not find any fault. We arrived very late and were greeted checked in and a gentleman took us and our cases to our room and showed us how the aircon etc worked. Food throughout the stay was fantastic, plenty to choose and always fresh and hot. Room excellent and perfectly clean, cleaned regularly and tea and coffee replenished daily. Pools lovely plenty of room and sun beds always available and clean (perhaps a little cold). Rooms quiet and never disturbed. A la carte meals (we were given vouchers and booked all free for free) was absolutely amazing food was delicious. We had the best week and highly recommend

Had a great pedicure from Anja today. Will be showing off my feet for the rest of my vacation.;) A little foot massage would have made the experience even more lovely, but Anja really was such a friendly, professional and kind nail technician that I can only leave five stars. :)

We were with my wife.  My wife took an anti-stress massage.  Anja took care of her very well and it was really relaxing and comforting.  I had a deep massage from Aggelos and it completely met my expectations. The intensity was exactly what I needed.

On arrival to the hotel in the early hours of the morning, we were met at reception by a young fella looking a little scruffy. He gave us a room key and told us our room number, nothing else. Nothing about the hotel was explained. Another gentleman showed us to our room and gave us a chilled box of salad and a bread roll, which was welcomed. The hotel is clean and beautiful with 3 separate pools to choose from. Landscaping is done beautifully. Each of the pools comes with the issue of sun beds being claimed by towels at 6am each morning. There are no pool staff monitoring this situation. The rules the hotels lays out about pool etiquette is NOT managed and became very frustrating. Food was varied and enjoyable. Plenty to choose from, throughout the day. Pool bar was manned by a single member of staff and therefore queues built up, they need another person working in there. Main bar in the evening was manned by the fabulous ‘Stella’ who was charming and attentive. Resort Mini supermarket, doesn’t take card payment, only cash, but had cute little gifts and things you may need while on holiday. For an all inclusive resort I wouldn’t expect the following: 1. Room fridge not to be restocked daily. 2. Certain cocktails on the menu not included and needed to be paid for. 3. No allocated hotel beach beds and beds costing 15 Euros per couple. I also believe that certain housekeeping staff cleaning the rooms cannot be trusted. On checkout we accidentally left an item of clothing hanging in the wardrobe. We realised 2 hours later and asked reception if the room could be checked. Housekeeping staff stated there was nothing left In the room. I was told by reception “no lady, we think u left it somewhere and are now blaming the hotel”. It ruined the final few hours in the hotel and I know the housekeeping staff bare faced lied. It was a horrible ending to a lovely holiday. So please check your hotel room carefully before you leave. Even inexpensive items WILL apparently be taken. We won’t be returning.

I had a nice full body massage at the spa,it was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep! I also i had a facial and it was the best one I’ve had in a while,my face has never felt softer. Anya was the lady who did my treatments,she was pleasant and friendly,fully recommend.

The location was clean and pretty. The workers were super friendly and helpful. Massage was very recovering and all in all nice experience. My friend and i feel extremely relaxed after the cretan massage. Thank you Antonis and Anja for your time
