Stalis Hotel

I would call this a 2 star hotel at best and I’m very suspicious of all the 5 star reviews. The room was ok although quite small. Every morning from 7am onwards the cleaners are in the corridor shouting at each other, the doors are paper thin and it woke us up every single morning. Other doors needed slamming to close them and this shook the whole building at times. At check in we were given the wrong wristband resulting in a quite overbearing guy who looked like a local bouncer, refusing to let us eat because we had the wrong band on even though we had proved we had paid for dinner. This was extremely humiliating. There were also no drinks available for dinner other than water. The food itself is varied but it didn’t seem to matter what time we ate the majority of the food was cold, it’s as if they didn’t bother switching the water heaters on. They also don’t label any food whatsoever, which makes it fun working out what you’re eating, it’s a total guess sometimes as other than fish which looks like fish, the rest of the food could be anything! We’ve eaten there for 3 nights now and have 2 more to go ( we didn’t bother yesterday) and may not bother again after our experiences. Would not stay here again.

The rooms were very clean and very nice. Comfortable beds. Lovely staff. And Arian from the pool bar is the king of all bar staff. Very friendly very nice. And he can make the best Pina coladas and Mojitos. Very good very nice. The only thing I would change is to have a kettle in every room. And if you are staying in a double room to have a wardrobe like the single rooms.

The staff are wonderful especially Mario in the hotel bar. Always happy to see you with a ready smile. Hotel is spread out through Stalis but all within striking distance of a lovely restaurant (great staff) and 1 pool with bar for day time use (really well maintained and good snack and bar option) Rooms are come in various sizes and board basis so you can mix and match. I have stayed here twice in the last 2 years and really hope I can back here again next year.

Great hotel close to all amenities. We arrived late at night and the hotel kindly laid on food which was greatly appreciated. Hotel was kept spotless. The hotel beach bar was superb The pool was lovely and 2 steps from that was the beautiful beach Super atmosphere at the bar which is run superbly by the fantastic Arian who serves beautiful drinks throughout the day To the hotel manager this man deserves a pay increase as he sets the tone and plays great music Thanks Arian again for the good memories You made our holiday

I just came back from my holidays in Crete. It was a fantastic experience and Stalis Hotel was beyond my expectations. From the first until the last minute I was pampered by the staff. My flight was delayed and I arrived to the hotel very late at night. My room was prepared and my dinner was waiting for me. The check in was smooth and the gentleman in the reception was very professional. The next morning, a lovely lady called Despina attended all my questions in the reception. I want to highlight the most welcoming smile I ever received in a Hotel. Second step, the breakfast: I don't have enough words to describe the exceptional quality and variety of available food and drinks. I'm not a breakfast person, however I couldn't resist the delicious pastries, the fresh fruit, and although I don't eat the traditional English breakfast I can say that nothing was missing, from the eggs to the sausages. The room cleanliness was spotless. Towels and bedding changed frequently and room cleaned daily. The swimming pool is a treat. With a welcoming bar, sunbeds, sun shades, music and a very nice gentleman called Arian, attending the bar and checking customer's confort, both in the swimming pool and the beach. The lounge is wide and comfortable, perfect for some chill out before or after dinner. Can't recall the name if the gentleman attending the longe bar, but at my request he prepared me an iced coffee just as I asked him. Let me describe dinner: Outstanding!!! If I was surprised with breakfast, I can say the dinner standard is excellent. Huge variety of hot and cold food, some food being prepared at the moment (is buffet style). All topped up with some if the best desserts I ever tasted. The atmosphere was always perfect. The staff is kind, speak a variety of languages, always ready to help or advise. I didn't try the spa and gym. I'm sure they would be upon the same standards. The location is perfect. Although spread through different buildings, they are less than 50 meters from each other. Access for reduced mobility people in all the hotel areas, including the pool. Stalis is an exceptional hotel, with a small village ambiance, family touch and the decoration goes accordingly to what we enjoy in a beach resort. I will come back. Definitely 😁

Came to the hotel stalis for our first holiday abroad ever. The service and staff were amazing. We cannot believe how friendly and attentive everyone is especially Arian (pep) at the pool bar. The food and local drinks were exceptional. Thank you so much see you next year.
