Our stay at the Gallini Sea View Hotel in Crete was average. The location with the beautiful sea view was definitely a plus, and the staff was friendly. The rooms and food were OK, but nothing special. There were no major flaws or special highlights. Overall, a solid stay that was neither particularly bad nor outstanding.

Got giving the worst room in the hotel 1137. Right under the bar and the view on the balcony was the day time seating area and the evening entertainment area. Shocking! Asked to move but was shown a room what looked like a 1/2* hotel. Hotel charge extra for everything.. even dark rum, pool towels and beach beds. Miss sold on LoveHolidays as having 4 restaurants. 1 buffet and 3 specialty restaurants. This was not the case, only the 1 specialty.. even the signs around the hotel still advertised this. Terrible up sell. Absolutely shocking . NOT a 5* hotel.. dirty pools and pool ladders are a health and safety issue.

This was the worst 5 star hotel I ever stayed! Food was awful and not close to a 5 star standard, facilities where not bad but also for a 5 star service is very very poor! If you are looking to pay for a 5 star hotel and and get the return on your stay this is not for you!

This hotel impressed us with its comfort and aesthetic appeal. The rooms were cozy, and the décor gave a touch of elegance. The pool was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sun. This was an unforgettable stay, and we’d highly recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic hotel in stalos/ Agi Marina Crete Χανιά Wonderful and helpful staff shout out to Kostas the best bartender 😋 and Μαριαντζελα the hotel tourism manager use are the best ❤️ Came here all inclusive with my friend her two kids had a great time the food was delicious the rooms were lovely also a great view with our own little pool. I will definitely stay here again

The hotel is in desperate need of a refurb, definitely don't book this hotel expecting a 5 or even 4 star, its 2/3 star at best!! The food is served cold, tepid at best, the selection is dire and repetitive. In a 7 night stay the pizza oven, pasta station nor the onsite Italian restaurant was open once. So the only food available was the buffet which closes at 9pm sharp. The hotel is situated at the top of an incredibly high, step hill. The hotel is also spread over a large uneven area, therefore not suitable for people with any mobility issues or small children. There is a lift in the main building once you get there. The snacks available during the day are cling film wrapped cheese and "ham" sandwiches or pizza which is basically a sheet of bread with over cooked cheese and tomatoes on. The only saving grace of the hotel is the staff, who are wonderful and there is a golf buggy service taking you from the hotel to the bottom street where there are a few bars and restaurants, also a few shops. The onsite mini market doesn't exist to grab any supplies or snacks whilst at the bottom of the hill. There is also no onsite entertainment. I would strongly advise from booking here unless you are booking as a 2-3 star and I'd certainly go either bed and breakfast or self catering, definitely NOT all inclusive.

We have just stayed in the Galini Sea View hotel in Crete. Positive. Hotel was spotless clean and all the staff where fantastic and anything you asked wasn’t a bother to them any problems where sorted within minutes. Lovely views but the hotel was up a steep incline but there was the golf cart to run you up and down form early in the morning to 23:00 at night. Negatives. The food was lukewarm warm most of the time with no way of heating it up ( microwave would have been useful ) which was a pity as the food was good with a good variety of dishes. We booked a room with a private pool but we didn’t use it as the whole area didn’t get any sun on it so in fact it was a bit of a waste of money which was a pity as the room itself was very good ( could have done with some draws.

This hotel is classed as a 5 star it is at most 2-3 star. The bathrooms need updating and a deep clean the shower had mould in. The first room we had a clump of hair and scum on the outside of the shower definitely not been cleaned, the whole bathroom just needed a really good clean. Reception were very good and agree to move us. The second room still had mould in the shower but not as much as the first room the taps had lime scaled covered over them the basin tap was tarnished, the work top had not been fitted correctly the hooks for hanging your towels were coming off the wall. In the bed room there were chunks out of the wall the ceilings look like they had mould on them but had just been painted over the mould. The hallway had scratches running down the full length of the corridor. We did look at a third room which was a little better but as we were only there for 4 nights decided to stay in the second as it was a bright room and near to the reception/bar and buggy to the beach. The garden areas were over grown and needed a lawn mower run over them. The main stair case to the pool again run down. The toilet for the pool area was a unisex area had a big gap in the door so anyway coming in could see you sat on the loo. The whole place including the beach area was just run down and in desperate need for a deep clean and decorating. The saving for this hotel is the staff they were friendly. I have attached some of the photos that we took. Every day there was someone in the reception area asking to move rooms. The place is up high so you did need the buggy to get to the beach but that was not an issue that ran frequently, but if you have walking issue to walk around the hotel would be an issue, parts of the hotel had steep walkways. I can see if the hotel had an overhaul it would have been a lovely place to stay.
