Excellent value and very centrally located. It's not a noisy pub so doesn't interfere with guests' enjoyment of the premises. Breakfast was superb.

Myself and my daughter stayed for 2 nights in the porcupine room. Lovely,cosy and clean. We had the best sunday roast beef dinner and the breakfasts were top notch. Quality local produce was cooked to perfection. All the staff were very professional and friendly. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you Sarah Lehane

A beautiful Place to stay. Great room we had the Stag. It was quaint and clean. First time to Stamford and planning another trip later in the year. Had a delicious evening meal. Breakfast was good- All of the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend the Bull and Swan. Great coffee and tea in the room and a fridge. Fantastic toiletries. Only downside and it is only the one, Sunday morning was very noisy with traffic from about 5-30 am. Being a listed building I know there are limitations but some sort of barrier on the windows on the inside to help counteract the noise possibly?

We had an excellent overnight stay at the Bull & Swan. The room was spacious and comfortable with an excellent walk-in shower. The staff were great and the dinner delicious. The best French onion soup this side of Paris! Tasty loin of pork too. We'll be back in the new year now we've discovered this gem.

Super venue for our short break. Individualistic room above the pub, steeped in local history. Comfortable bed with good facilities, very central for historic Stamford. Lovely, attentive staff and a varied menu

Lovely B&B stay at the Bull. We booked into the Ram room on the first floor which is next to the pub and accessed separately (be aware there is no lift but staff can help you with bags). It was both spacious and very comfortable with all the amenities you would need, tea, expresso, fridge etc. Plenty of hanging space which can be a rarity these days. Bed was really comfortable and bathroom had both roll top bath and walk-in shower. Breakfast was served in the pub and was excellent (full English or Continental) and it also provides evening meals. Staff were very attentive and the pub itself very cosy. Nice atmosphere and would definitely visit again. Note: Free car parking is available at their sister establishment the William Cecil, which is about 200 metres along the road. Some pull-in space is available outside the pub but we found it occupied during our time there.

We had a brilliant time would definitely stay at the Bull and Swan again 😀We also had evening meal there which was delicious also breakfast passed all expectations
