Granite Court Motel

Hadn’t booked a motel before arriving in Stanthorpe and came across the Granite Belt Motel. Great decision to drive in. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were impressive, clean and comfortable. Very quiet and you had a screened window to keep open if you don’t like sleeping in aircon. Able to park car under awning which was great as we were expecting a storm. Close walk to town and eateries. Thanks for a great stay.

My husband and I recently stayed in a Deluxe King Room for 2 nights. It was our first time staying in Stanthorpe and it was a great location to base ourselves. The motel and grounds are tidy and well maintained. The room was tastefully decorated, clean and modern. The bathroom was spacious and the room was a good size for 2 people with everything we required for a short trip. We ate out for all our meals so didn’t require a full kitchen but there is a kettle, microwave and bar fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The wooden shutters were a nice touch as well as the seating outside of the room, though it was too cold for us at the time of our visit to enjoy. There is also a shared outdoor entertainment area with BBQ which would be nice to enjoy in warmer weather. Undercover parking is located conveniently in front of the room with spacious bays. We booked our room directly from the hotel’s website, which is easy to navigate, as we prefer this method. Rooms are well priced. The town centre is only a short distance away and easily walkable. Loved our time in Stanthorpe and would stay at the motel again, either this room or the Premium King which their larger room for 2 ppl.

Modern renovation, new owners carrying on the great reputation. Quiet rooms, modern, comfortable and well-equipped. Owners & staff friendly and helpful. Our group of 11 were delighted with the outdoor covered area to gather (original reason for booking here) Beautiful river walk very close by & short 10-minute walk into town (although a slight uphill on the way back). Price was very reasonable for the quality! Wonderful weekend stay! Thank you!
