"Toyoko Inn is a decent hotel in Kawaguchiko, Fuji. We got a room that faces Mount Fuji, it’s almost too good to be true but it is. The room is not big but not too small. A Spartan breakfast is included. For Muslims, just take the plain buns, plain tuna, vegetable salads only. The hotel is generally clean with basic amenities included (elevators, vending machines, laundry room etc.) Location-wise, it is strategic. Definitely great for those who like walkabouts. If you’re like me, who loves walking but also wants convenience, the hotel has a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko main bus terminal. There’s also other brochures on activities you can do while you’re in Mt. Fuji. I stayed there for 3 nights. Let me be honest. The staff were okay, but maybe they’re shy or afraid of tourists who don’t speak Japanese? I felt like they tried to avoid me when I asked some questions about the brochures. Except for one staff (lady) by the name of Miss Sato. She was very helpful and tried her best to call a cab for me and my sis to go to Arakurayama Sengen Park. For her alone, she gets ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ from me. I hope there’ll be more like Miss Sato in the future. ☺️ Overall, it’s a good hotel and value-for-money."

"Was very clean and super comfortable. As a German, I can’t complain at all. Recommend this hotel for everyone who want to stay in a clean and comfortable hotel with onsen."

"Location is the plus point for this hotel. Other than that it has on site Onsen. Rooms a bit old style so does the toilet without the techy toilet bowl. Just a sachet of green tea available inside the room. Not going to elaborate much as it just a quick stop alone and I’m just looking for the cheapest available on Kawaguchiko. Best part is, even from the parking spot, u can see the majestic Fuji-san."

"Hotel provides free shuttle pickup at Kawaguchiko Station, just go to the Tourist Information Office and they will call for you. Breakfast and dinner are served well and delicious. Room has beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. After check out, hotel even help us to deliver our luggage to our next hotel ( in Kawaguchiko only). The only downside was the Onsen temperature was not hot and there’s no facial or body lotion provided."

"Booked two rooms with a friend, one with an open-air onsen and one without. It seems the reviews for the two bookings got swapped, so please bear with me. However, I absolutely recommend this hotel! It's within walking distance to Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge, which is super convenient for watching fireworks. You can also walk to the busiest part of the station area. The rooms are spacious, and the views are stunning. We had great weather that day, so we got to enjoy magnificent views of Mt. Fuji 🗻 to our heart's content. Both rooms were mountain view rooms. The open-air onsen room offered the view in picture 2, while the room without an onsen had a large window with the view in picture 1. Both were beautiful."

"Recommend staying here if you are visiting Mt Fuji. It is a 15 to 20 min walk away from Kawaguchiko Station. Alternatively, you can take the Red Line bus and alight at Oigi bus stop. But it can be difficult to board the bus with huge luggages, so walking would be a better option. Room is spacious compared to Tokyo hotels. Free breakfast was also provided daily! Can choose between Japanese set or Sandwich set. Both options are equally filling. You can also see Mt Fuji from the rooftop of the Hotel. To get around, just need to walk a short distance to Oigi bus stop, and take the bus using your IC card. When going back to Kawaguchiko Station after check out, just inform the receptionist beforehand to book a slot to take the free shuttle bus. Staying here was hassle free and convenient, and we had a great experience."

"I chose this place in Lake Kawaguchiko area as it was more affordable than hotels and it could fit my family of 5. The house could stay up to 7 though the bedrooms were smaller than expected. There is not much space to open luggages in the bedroom if staying at full capacity. There are 2 bathrooms though only one with sink and toilet. Bedrooms are on level 1 while the kitchen and living area were on level 2. Netflix was a plus since there was not much to do in the area at night. Overall a good stay!"

"Japanese style hotel. A bit old and outdated but I think it's charming with Tatami, futon and closet like where Doraemon sleep. If you arrive at station after 3 pm you can call hotel for free pick up service, just 10-15 mins then they're there. We've got a room at 10th floor so bit of a walk from main building to our room but it's fine there, great view of Fuji and lake. Room were nice in Japanese style like I ever read in manga. Our rate were breakfast and dinner included. Then they arranged for you as the time you prefer. Excellent food and super good service! Even they speak 99% only Japanese but service is extraordinary. Don't miss the onsen too, cool experience to take a bath with a view. They also have shuttle service to train station , just ask reception ,free of charge."

"The living environment is very clean and the location is very good! The photos of the room are exactly the same as those provided on the website, so there will be no disappointment It's a pity that the room was too late to take pictures when I remembered that day It is very close to large supermarkets and tourist attractions, and I would like to stay again when I visit next time"
